Was all lined up to buy scribbles and asked seller to ship on a Friday and w/o letting me know she went and sold her over the weekend... grrr I never said I wouldn't pay her. I sent payment last night and then she tells me pony is all ready gone  I'm not happy. She should of told me

While I understand your frustration, there is not much a Mod can do  We have no jurisdiction over how one handles their sale rules. If she doesn't hold items and a sufficient amount of time had passed, she may have thought you were not interested.

A seller isn't required to hold things. It's pretty common for sellers not to do them.

I didn't ask her to hold just mail on a Friday. I paid her the next day after she have me her email. Thank you for removing the email... the thing I'm mad about is she never told me she wouldn't hold she just sold it. I just want to make people aware of what this seller did. She should have let me know first. She never face me a chance. You can delete this post if you want to

While i can appreciate your frustration, abooth, I don't think it's appropriate to post the conversation directly on the thread. That's not how we do things here...we post that something has happened, then a mod will get in touch with you and you can discuss directly with them what has happened and give THEM the information you've posted here.
I don't want to sound like i'm telling you not to try and have something done, it's just for privacy's sake and to keep everyone in the Arena feeling comfortable...I know I'd be mortified if anyone posted a conversation I'd had in private on a public thread, no matter what the contents are about.

Threads don't get deleted here sweetie. Really, I wouldn't worry about it. Having deleted the conversation was good, but covering the name would've probably been acceptable and leaving the conversation as is would be ok (in my opinion, I'm not a moderator, but I've been buying, selling and trading for a few years now, so that's my personal opinion, others may disagree). Whilst what happened isn't ok, and I would personally say isn't good code of conduct, there is nothing you can do now, the best thing would be to move on.

All I can say is good luck finding the pony again, I know it happened to me too in 2013, and I'm still looking for that darn Chocolate Sundae (hence the never leaving signature!) x

Ha ha thank you. I don't want to run her name through the mud or anything. Just want people to know that's not acceptable and I was really hurt bc I was so excited to get her. I don't throw that kind of money around freely. :-)

I'm sorry you are upset as knowing first hand about trades slipping through on me and not being completed. But I did state I don't do holds. I'm currently going on vacation in a few days and I need the cash quickly. You told me to hold it until next Friday because you didn't want the pony to arrive on a Friday or Saturday because of your husband being home and then let me know you were waiting on funds available.  I did state I don't do holds and it was over 24 hours before payment was sent and I had seen that u had read the PM with pricing and paypal info but no payment sent. I do usually do holds but right now under certain circumstances I just can't right now. Again I am sorry as I stated in a pm.
