TE pony with sunken looking eyes?

Today when I was shopping around I found Locket in a display case.  However, when I took her out to look more closely, I noticed that the gems in her eyes looks like they were sunken in, like someone had pushed on them hard and popped them partially into the head cavity.  Is this just how this pose looks with twinkle eyes, or is this just a problem that happens when played with too roughly?  If it is a problem, can it be fixed easily?

It's not a product of rough play but just the way she was made.  Locket is notorious for recessed eyes.  It's a little weird compared to the other TEs but now I kind of like her that way.  It makes her unique.

Ah, good to know for future reference!  I'd never heard of anything like this before, so I'm not surprised it's part of the design.

Every single Locket I've ever owned had sunken eyes. I never could find one without. Eventually I gave up looking.

I think it has something to do with her being from the second set (that's correct, right?).  TE's come in two varieties:  the first set has an eye gem with a kind of "plug" on one side, which keeps it from coming out the socket.  The second set has gems that are missing that plug so their fronts and backs are identical, and so they're quite a bit smaller and they stick out much less than the first set.

If you're making a custom TE and using genuine TE's, you definitely want those plugs, trust me.

Skeen I did not know that but it makes sense.    It's interesting because Locket is the only pony I've come across with recessed eyes and the rest of my 2nd set of TEs are fine.  Do you have any others with recessed eyes?  They would be fun to see!

I never noticed mine having sunken eyes. o_o Wish my MOC and my loose one were handy to look at.

Yup its because of the set she is with - the eyes are a little different.

As others have said its something Locket is unfortunately a little prone to People find her this way quite a bit.

I've never seen a Locket without sunken eyes.  I guess it's just her mold.  It does bug me a little bit.
