I am keeping my expections rather low. hoenstly  becuae the  pricetag   will proa bly  be    50.00 and  liekly it wont be worth that.

Any of the comic characters would be a good idea, though honestly I doubt it, the comic characters don't seem nearly as popular as show fan favs.

the power ponies are getting their own Target exclusive line at Target

The Nightmare Rarity I was referring to is from the actual IDW published paper comics, whereas the Power Ponies are from a fictional comic book in the show. Though I can obviously see how that's misleading 8)

i would love Hasbro forever if they released a figure/brushable of Nightmare Rarity.

They likely will not release a brushable of that pony. Flutterbat maybe because she was actually in the show. I believe they would prefer to stick with at least a background character from the show rather than do what is in the comics made by IDW, because then at least buyers can identify more with what is from the show if they never read the comics.

I have to wonder now... since we hardly ever see a Tao pony of the SDCC (I think Muffin Pony was the exception?) do they make the SDCC Pony in the States?

I second the Nightmarity! I would die for a really good one! I just REALLY hope its a brushable. I  stil ldont even have the exclusive from last year because I feel weird about the SDCC having molded manes. The villian was really cool and made sense to make her since its a comic-book like character and its at SDCC but she was a pass for me. =/ I miss the FS like !

I remember the bejewelled Princess Twilight figure popped up in small numbers before release and there was some confusion over their legitimacy (I thought they were just custom decoden ponies) and after release some loose DJs surfaced, but Mane-iac was a complete surprise. I have to congratulate everyone doing SDCC this year, neither Hasbro's MLP or Mattel's MH exlusives have been leaked yet.

Whoever it is, it will be a pony everyone pretty much knows.  I haven't bought a SDCC pony since Muffin, and I likely might not buy one this year too

I am very impressed that it has been kept under wraps actually! I don't post too much here any more and I logged on today to see if there was any news but it looks like that will be a little bit longer!

"Coco" is scheduled to be a regular release. She was shown at Toy Fair and usually SDCC ponies are not shown at Toy Fair. I also don't think she will be named Coco Pommel. Hasbro will give her a name like Dazzle Bonnets.

Given the time they announced the pony last year, I have a feeling they are going to be reviewing her *at* this years' pony fair!  I have no guesses who it will be, but I doubt anyone guessed Mane-iac for last year...

Wouldn't it be the same pony that we'd get at the Pony Fair?  If that's the case, there's no need to wait for SDCC since the fair is before that.

I'm sure that she is made in one of Hasbro's China factories like all their other ponies-  but probably they made it VERY clear that there are to be no leaks.   Since there is probably just one factory working on the SDCC/Fair pony (whatever it is) - it might be slightly easier to keep under wraps at least for a while.

I will admit I am dying to find out !!!  I'm probably in the minority but I loved the Mane-iac pony/Humdrum set.  I hope they get super creative again this year (although I admit I would prefer some brushable hair- please Hasbro!)
