The Plant Thread
Ponyfan:
The strawberries are dead. I was trying to check on them today and I accidentally pulled up the whole plant. :( The roots were tiny and didn't grow down in to the potting soil.
I think the lavender is dead too.

BlackCurtains:
I'm sorry, Ponyfan :(
My plants are doing badly. I haven't been watering them :( I haven't spent much time in my living room. I'm going to take most of them to the sink for a soak and hope for the best.
Artemesia's Garden:
Vine weevils don't seem too bad in my nursery bed this year but I noticed we've got a lot of rove beetles - looks like they might be keeping the numbers down. I've put a mesh in the bottom of some pots now as a precaution though. A good result, possibly due to having a healthier compost heap. Now in year 4 of renovating the garden from scratch. My asters are just coming into flower.
@Ponyfan, the thing in the dill pot looks like grass to me. Sorry about the lavender, are those tiny new shoots at the bottom? If so, try cutting back to those. The soil looks a bit compacted, maybe next time try and work in some grit and compost for it to grow into. Maybe it really is too hot where you are though. Your other plants look amazing though! I love the aloe.
Lady Frostbite:
I'm still checking the soil for cactus shoots. Nothing yet
Ponyfan:
The lavender's dead. :( I checked on it yesterday and with a little pulling the plant came out of the ground. I checked the roots, and they were still small and hadn't spread out much.
I'm not having a lot of luck with plants this year. The lavender, strawberries and dill have all died.
