In June 2011 I commissioned Ellis to draw two of my OCs on a colt/filly base she had. I was specific about this and she even confirmed with me that I wanted them on the base. However instead of drawing them how I asked, she drew them completely custom and not on the base in any way (they weren't even colt/filly aged). While the art was lovely and getting a commission that would usually cost more for less money was kind of cool, she did not deliver what was asked of her.
She also stated very clearly on her profile that her process included sending the buyer a WIP in case any changes needed to be made, which she did not follow through with. Had she done so I would've been able to tell her I wanted them specifically on that base, or at least as a colt and a filly.
To be completely clear she did not try to scam me or anything of the sort and the art was finished fairly quick, it just was what she wanted to do with my characters instead of what I ordered.
