Does anyone here play Minecraft?

I just got it for the Wii U and I loooove it.  I mean, I die all the time, but I'm having a good time, LOL.  My world has a big waterfall coming out of a mountain, so I carved out a home on the mountain opposite of it so I could enjoy the view.

I also tamed a wolf.  And then tamed another wolf.  And now they keep having wolf puppies.  I have five wolves now.  Please stop producing babies, wolves.

I love this game so much! I have a bunch of cats and dogs too! I've spent hours just exploring the world, never know what you find!

It's not something I personally have ever been able to get into.. but I honestly really love the game itself. What it is, what you find in it, the world itself, things like that.

My boyfriend looovvvessss minecraft though. He watches Mumbo Jumbo's youtube videos for ideas on things

I only play pc version though, never really got into the console/mobile versions that came later. its lots of fun though!

I play the PC version (just on creative mode) occasionally.

I play it too much, probably. PC version, and I just bought a second account for my son so we can play together. (I'll probably get one for them all, but one at a time). I love a modded version called Life in the Woods: Renaissance. And I'm also playing vanilla, playing a challenge called the village challenge. It gives me goals that I like. If I don't have goal, I typically get bored and stop after awhile.

I have played on popular servers too, like Minplex, the Hive and Hypixel.

My kids and I all watch Minecraft Youtubers. They like Mumbo Jumbo. I like EthosLab, DanTDM, ThinkNoodles, VintageBeef and Paulsoaresjr.

Me and hubby have played since Alpha. We're PC primarily and have a home server so our kids can play with us too. I haven't played in a while but have extensive plans for the summer when we can spend a week or so on builds.    Middle child used to play on public servers quite a lot. Youngest loves watching let's plays and stories by British sounding hosts like StampyCat.

Funny you should mention that, I actually got interested in the game after watching some of StampyCat's "Building Time" videos, the ones where he and his friend individually build a challenge (like building a desert island or an airport or, in one case, "Salad Land" ) in 15 minutes and then compare what they built.

I haven't tried creative mode yet, but it seems like fun, and probably much less stressful than getting blown up by Creepers all the time.    I love exploring but I die so much.  And I always end up losing my map because I can't find the place where I died.

I suspect it's much easier to play Minecraft with a mouse than on a console.  It can be so fiddly trying to nudge the pointer to where I want to place a block.  Unfortunately my main laptop is a Chromebook, which can't really have games installed on it.  I have an older laptop too, but it's on its last legs and overheats and crashes all the time.   I should really copy all my stuff off of it before it dies for good.

I'm not much for Creative, although I can see the benefits of unlimited resources, not dying, and the ability to fly. We do builds only in Survival. Because that way we can all have roles that count. Even my Youngest. 

His Wonderment series taught Youngest about Jupiter being a gas giant so I have few qualms about her watching any of his material. She also has learned the states of matter from him. I approve thoroughly.

Yes, my son and I played it for a good stretch of time on the Xbox 360. I was always the one going deep into the mines and finding the emeralds, but he did get brave and start killing endermen! He's moved on to Plants vs. Zombies and Singing Monsters or something like that, but I'm hoping once we get the story mode he'll get back into it

I love minecraft!!! My husband and I got into it via Xbox. The only thing is that he enjoys creative mode and I love survival - it makes the game fun! 

After he moved on to Fallout, I decided to download it to my PC and have been addicted since. PC is really the best way to go, with servers and mods. Have not found any decent servers though, being new to them is confusing. Recently, I've been hooked to Stardew Valley, which is very similar but with more story and characters.

My bf is trying to talk me into getting the ps4 version. (I can't control a mouse and keyboard at the same time, so pc is out.) He seems convinced i'll love it, but I'm not sure I want to pay for it + PSN so we can use it.

Only fairly recently, but enjoy it on the PC and console.  Though mostly it's creative nowadays to unwind between university assignments, I do enjoy survival as well given the time. (And survival with friends is a lot of fun as well!)
