Good places to find Nirvanas?

Hmm, since I'm new to the whole pony buying thing it makes me especially new to hunting down Nirvanas. Where are places you tend to look for them (other than Ebay, here & the Trading post)? I'm assuming there are other places to hunt for these pretty little creatures. Nirvana buying tips would be awesome, since I now want to start looking into getting them. Totally told myself I wouldn't buy Nirvanas.

FLEA MARKETS!!!  =D  (I found a Macau Blosscotch once... I still wonder HOW she arrived there o.O).

UNEXPECTED PURCHASES!!  And mystery boxes o.o

yeah thats right, i found a no country lemondrop yesterday on a local flea market (the seller told me he had LOTS more but sold them already - NOOOOO!)

wowsers!  I only ever find beat up G3.5's and some nice G3's at the markets here.  Although lucky arena member in my town found a G1 yellow Moondancer at our local market!  Gasp!

3) flea market: 5 days ago I have found a french Seashell  but it is very rare even in french flea marlkets lol

Hehe I'm lucky to find G1s at in flea markets. I'm also in the states though, do as many end up in markets here? I will keep an eye out though.

Tell me... I haven't been able to get my claws on a Mexican in some (maybe one year?  Last one I got was a FF Lily Ledy on October of last year... *sad*).

charity shop/second hand shop/flea market/yard or carboot sales
local ads in new papers/craigslist/freecycle etc

i am lucky and my friends and family keep an eye out for ponies for me

Foreign ponies are much less likely to turn up in US flea markets than in other countries, but a few peope have had lucky finds in the US over the years. I found a German Baby Lemondrop at a used toy shop in the US in the late '90's.

A Blosscotch and a German Large Symbol Raindrop  in Mexico (the first on a flea market, the second in a mystery lot).

I've also know of a Peruvian Parasol and an Italian Snuzzle (or Peachy? can't remember who) found in another Mexican flea market.
