I have him.  He's not a favorite, but it at least shows that they can do pretty cool and interesting things with BB molds.  If there's anything the G4 toy lines need, it's more variety...

Haha, agreed. I have never seen this pony friend before. I'll have to pass on this guy. I don't collect G4 anyway.

I bought the Elements of Harmony Friends set he comes with. I ended up selling him because I just don't like him very much. I don't like his sad expression or creepy scorpion tail.
Unlike the actual ponies, whom thus far I've always felt like I want one of every character, I've found I'm pickier about having non-pony characters in my collection.

I've got him. It's always odd, picking him out of the blind bag drawer since he's made so differently from the ponies (apparently hollow, with what seems to be a thinner, more rigid plastic). That said, the flexible wings are nice, and it's not every day you see a manticore on the shelves.

I think he's cute. For me he fits sorta along the lines of how hasbro gave us pony friends in G1, the Lion, Camel, Cuteasaurus, etc...
