We had a major storm sweep through the mid-Atlantic states on Friday night. Maryland, Virginia, and DC all got slammed.  There are still many, many people without power.  I would expect, if you're waiting to hear from a seller (or a buyer) from Ebay or here from those states, that you'll probably be waiting a bit to hear from them. With temperatures soaring into the 100's this weekend, it was absolute misery for 2 million of us.  Some power companies are expecting they won't have full grids back online until NEXT weekend!

I got power back late yesterday, but we still don't have internet & cable. Internet service through my phone is spotty at best, and I'm sure it's non-existent for others.  Your patience is appreciated.

Any news on this? I only ask as I was the earlier bridge between you two. I'll be happy to be so again. I know she went to the beach last weekend, so she's not holed up in her home or anything.

She'd be wise to invest in a storage unit, and get all her stuff sorted out there.

She posted pics of her new mice as of May 15, and I've just messaged her to head back to this thread, so hopefully we'll see her here soon.

Roogna, she said the earliest she can get to the post office is Friday, so I'm taking that to mean she will be shipping this week.  I hope she comes through at this point.

DS, dumb question - have you faxed them a death certificate for Shadow?  I find it unbelievable they won't work with you on this.

I heard a story where some adult children were getting spam from their deceased mother's email account until they finally had to go to the media and bang the drums to get the email provider to shut down the account.

Holy cow, after that first bit of bitterness, I would have said "You're absolutely right, here's your money back!" and shoved her out the door.  No WAY should she have been that way toward you.

The fact that she knows where you live now frightens me. Hopefully she doesn't try anything physical. What a loon!

I'm posting from work, so no, I don't have pictures.

I'm not *entirely* sure I'll be selling the complete catsuit, although it's just been sitting in a ziplock bag since I took Mitzi out of it, and I know I need to start downsizing on the number of clothing items I have for my dolls.  Really, I like her out of the suit and in regular clothes better.

Any ideas on the catsuit itself? What about the stuffed toy cat she came with?

Any feedback would be great.  I've yet to search the other doll forums on this as I haven't visited them in a while.
