After being rejected by 3 different rescues and a race track since December we finally were able to adopt another dog! (Some of you have read my very sad ramblings about the months before our previous boy who passed very quickly in March.) We're very happy to have our new girl. ^.^
I would like to introduce Fancy Nancy "Nance" aka Nancy Walls. (I think we're going to rename her...) She comes from Alabama. Nancy raced 13 times with 2 first places and one second. Racing wasn't her forte, but becoming a couch potato surely is! Weighing in at 48 lbs she is very very very petite for a greyhound. (Our previous boy was 75 lbs so we wanted to give the opposite end of the spectrum a try. Plus, we could get a second eventually-once you pop you just can't stop... lol) She's slowly adjusting to our home.

She's very, very cute, especially with that long grayhound nose. She has such sweet eyes too, congrats to you and Nancy for finding family. :lovey:

Hrm, I dunno, somehow I feel like the name Nancy suits her. Just the "Nancy" bit, though. Not the Fancy Nancy ;)

She is a beautiful dog. My little Yuki has a heart pillow LOL. I think your girl will love being in her new home in time. She has probably been through a lot. I feel so for the greyhounds. It seems so unfair how they are treated. Sniff....
