Since I have some problems with insomnia, I go to bed early so I can be in a dark room. Getting away from the artificial lights of the living room that can suppress melatonin production. So I usually retreat for bed anytime between 6pm-7pm. However, I settle down to sleep after 9pm. Sometimes after 10pm.
How about you? :zzz:

I chose the 6am option since right now it's going on 7am and I haven't slept... I think I got up yesterday at 4pm. I never, ever have a normal schedule and it changes almost daily. Sometimes I'm in bed by 10pm and up in the morning... sometimes I sleep for 16 hours. Sometimes I'll stay up for 30 hours. My ideal sleeping schedule is probably going to bed between 4am - 6am and being up by 3pm.

I went with after 6am since my normal time is 9-10AM (sometimes as late as noon). The result of working a night shift for over 11 years (and generally being a night owl for another 15 before that).
Maybe that's why Luna became my favorite princess. :P

Well I am a nighttime person anyway so at least midnight. I'll go for 2-3am though, as we have our own business (with mum) we are often up until the very early hours replying to customers on the other side of the world.
I can easily stay up until 6am+ if I have work to do (although we do try to stop around Midnight... which often leads to 2am)
I am designing our website atm so very late nights and very early mornings every day atm :biggrin: not sure how im keeping going atm :blink: :P )

I normally go at 22:00, but one I went to bed at 11:30.(I was up watching Big Brother).

If I'm working on something it can be as late as 3 or 4am, but usually around midnight or just after. If I go to bed earlier than that, I end up waking at 4 and that's not fun, so my brain doesn't like early nights.
My best academic writing times tend to be between about 7 in the evening and 3am. Sometimes when I have a project due I will go to bed at normal time, wake up around 2, work for a few hours and then go back to bed till about ten...
Full time student life allows for such weird hours. If I know I have to be up and out early for something though, then it's midnight on the dot.
I rarely stay up the whole night unless it's some exceptional reason - the last time was the election, which I stayed up to watch the results of until 7am and then went shopping o.o

I have to cross the metro area to get to work by 7:30. So I'm in bed around 9PM. Awake up at 5, leave at 6, and typically get to work around 7.

Circa 22:00 everyday. Used to be 21:00 when I was smaller.

It varies a lot.. usually I try to aim for 2 am, lately it's been 4-5 am (trying to fix that though >_<).. usually no later than 5 am unless it's a particular circumstance (like if I need to pull an all-nighter for one reason or another).
I voted for 2 am, tho like I say, my sleeping schedule in general is pretty variable XD

Work night is around midnight, non work up to 3am.

I suppose I average from 11 pm to 1 am. I'd rather fall asleep from 11 to 11:30, but I have a lot of insomnia. =(

Between 1 and 2 am. Sometimes around 3. Workshift usually ended between 11 pm and 1 am but I have a new job lined upp after my vacation which is during daytime so hopefully my sleep habbit will change :).

At the moment, I don't have to get up till 8am, so I go to bed between 10 and 10.30pm. When I have to get up earlier, I usually go to bed between 9 and 10pm.

Seeing as it's 6:25 at the moment and I've not gone to bed yet I would guess I fit into the 6 AM or later category. xD Really though I'm on what my dad calls a rotating schedule where it seems each day I get up a little later and go to sleep a little later than the day before and slowly but surely work my way round and round the clock.

11pm if I'm good. Later if I'm being bad. I should go to bed earlier because sometimes I have really early shifts and regret past Storybelle's decision to stay up on those mornings... >_<

On work days I get up at 6 AM, so I start to settle in around 10, and turn my lights out by 11. Of course, if I'm engaged in something-- a book, a video game, and I have the day off the next day I can be up until the wee hours. XD

Go to bed between 10-11pm, toss and turn a couple hours until falling asleep, wake up at least two times during the night, then wake up an hour before alarm is to go off, unable to go back asleep.

11-12 which is too late! I used to go earlier but now that I'm a mum I like a bit of time alone to myself in the evenings for my sanity ;)

I've always been a night Owl but I've had chronic insomnia for about 9 years now ...but *eyes thread and poll* wow... I just worked out that according to this poll my insomniac night owl sleeping habits are looking kindof ...*Normal* these days!! :blink: :whoa: :faint:
and there was me thinking that most people went to bed long before midnight XD . I chose between 2am and 3am for my vote BTW but TBH it's usually nearer 3am and then read for a bit before I actually finally get to sleep. I don't get up early so I guess it doesn't matter too much. I've learned to not hate those quiet hours when most people are in bed asleep as I can get stuff done without interruption- I really don't like being up all night though (unless it's by choice!) :awake:

Usually 1-2 a.m. My husband works late and I wait until he gets home.

My sleep is terrible, so I go to sleep sometimes as early as 7:30 p.m. and sometimes as late as 1:30 a.m.

I woke up at 5pm yesterday... it's 2:21pm now and I haven't been to bed yet. :ack:

I usually go to bed between 11 pm and 1 am. I aim at 11, especially on weekdays, but rarely manage to actually go to sleep before midnight... On weekends and holidays I stay up later, occasionally as late as 3 am, but around midnight to 1 am is really the most natural bedtime for me.

I go up to bed 11:30-midnight, play iPad games for an hour, then try and sleep but it's usually 3-4am before I get to sleep. I always have to pee before I can finally drift off but going before my body tells me I'm ready doesn't work. I'm not up until 11:30-1pm though - I just can't wake up in the mornings and it used to be worse in Winter but seems to have gone through to Summer this year. Sometimes I have to be up at 10am for a week or so and I get more tired at night and will get to sleep earlier by 1:30/2am but then I often need a nap around noon for an hour or two :( Sleep and me are not friends.

Most of the time between 11 and 11:59 PM. My alarm is always set on 6:30 AM. Even when Im free or in the weekends. Really am a morning person. :P

Since I started working again I go to bed any time between 10 and 12. Some nights i don't sleep and I get up for a bit. Sometimes I eventually fall asleep on the sofa.

Between 10:30 PM and 11:15 PM most nights, although I typically don't fall asleep immediately. On weekends I push it a little later, 12 AM or 12:30 AM.

I like to be a morning person, since I'm up anywhere from 4:30-6 am depending on the season (yup, get up earlier in the winter). So I try to be in bed before 10 pm. I'm an absolute bear if I don't have about 7 hours...

Me too, I'm really bad at not keeping my own business hours since my metals studio is at home so I'm often doing web stuff or photographs or whatever at 2am,, too! Making my own schedule is great and awful at the same time. I need someone to set my work hours for me and hold me accountable for being late or working overtime!! :art:

Eh 11pm-12am. It's not the best but I am trying to get better just been pretty stressed I guess. :P

I prefer to go to bed between 21:00 and 22:00, mostly on workdays. :pillow: But I also enjoy staying up to 03:00 now and then, especially if I have a project (painting stuff, mostly) I'm working on. That always works best at night. So I guess I don't really have a routine. :lookround:

My aim is between 11 and 11:30 pm on work nights/school nights.
Weekends, I can sleep in so I may stay up as late as 1 am. I have been up as late as 3 am, but that is becoming rare.

I usually go to bed between 2-3pm have to be up again at 9:30pm to get to work.

My circadian rhythm is very messed up. Sometimes I go to bed as early as 9pm and the next night I cannot fall asleep until 2am.
