So, in the super old part of the city, there is this antique mall. The old strathcona antique mall to be exact. It's huge, and I got a bit lost trying to find everything. But in doing so, I saw so many wonderful things. Mainly in upon shelf upon bin of pony! And so I bought a few new ponies for my herd. I never thought I would find a moondancer (my grail girl) with good symbols, but lo and behold, there she was among a dozen other ponies. And a bunch of others I never thought I would get.

Little peachy. She has some black dots on her front legs and cheek, and was dirty. The dots won't go away! Any clue as to what they might be? And how to get rid of it?

A little pony hat. It was on the peachy, and I have no idea what the hat came with. Any ideas?

And moondancer. The little darling has some discolouration on her horn tip, but the glittery symbols are so...glittery!

I assume the black dots on peachy are probably mold. you should open her up and clean her out from the inside.
and your hat came with the pretty parlor set! which came with peachy! so its probably her hat : )

I like the sound of these antique malls that seem to be dotted around the world. Unfortunately our city is too small to have such a thing. Congrats on your pony finds :D

Peachys spots arent going away. They go deep into her material, and you do need to open her up n clean out her insides n make sure she's thoroughly dry before putting her head back on (if you havent taken off heads before then go real slow not to tear n use nothing sharp n if you have trouble there are tutorials). You can lighten them up by boiling her for an hour but thats drastic and might ruin her, i have not tried it on peachy but the good news is she's cheap and comon so if you love her you can always find a perfect one to keep on the shelf n have the flawed one to play with.
Moondancers symbols are so nice when you find one in good shape!

Boiling a Peachy would probably fade her hair, not a good thing to do. Those spots could also be ink which has bled into the plastic, in this case sunfading would help. Just make sure to cover her painted areas and hair, for example with tin foil, before putting her into the sun. Takes some time but I have been able to completely fade out quite a few marks out of ponies already. Just don't do it to pink or purple ponies as the red parts will fade. Blue (but not lavender!), yellow and peach coloured ones are perfectly fine. White ones can get sunburnt sometimes. There's a list somewhere which can safely be sunfaded and which rather not.

Congrats on your newbies! Its always amazing to find G1s out in the wild... It's going to be harder and harder to find them the more time goes on.
Extra cool that they are in such beautiful condition.
