Hej everbody,
with good luck, I won this beautiful Tootsie and now I'd like to know something about her like how common she was, how much she is worth etc. Is someone else own her? Maybe?

She has the Italy eyes, double row mane and no forelock :) it's worth checking her feet though as MCM has suggested.
Where did you find her? She is very rare and only a handful are known off. I've no idea on a price I'm afraid:blush:

I don't mean to be a downer either but she kind of looks like she could be a rehair.
I really hope she is is the genuine thing! If so, major congrats to you! :D I never even knew she existed before this thread.

She kind of looks like a re-hair to me but I am not an expert.

Dazzle only one was known of for ever such a long time, but a few others have appeared :)

As i wrote on FB, i saw in person the first one with chopped hair and the colour oh mane looked more purple-ish.
That could be because it was many years ago and i hope this is the real thing ;)

I had one, definitely the most rare pony I've ever owned. Her hair drove me crazy though, so I traded her... I regret that. Anywho, here are some pics for comparison :)

As far as I know, she has stamped hooves made in Italy and she has the typical plomb on her tail like all the italians have. But I haven't had her in hands so it's a big surprise! :) Cross your fingers for me. I really hope she is a real beauty and no rehair. Otherwise... I dunno. Have to think about it because she was too expensive for a rehair but very cheap for an original. Maybe I have luck. :) Maybe...
I will tell you when she is arrived here.

I think what DazzleKitty means, is that she is real (genuine/authentic) and was made with purple hair, rather than being a an Italy Tootsie that originally had blue hair and was rehaired with purple hair.
You will know for sure when you have her ^.^

I'm confused now, how can you know she has a plomb on her tail if her neck is supposed to be sealed? (which the seller told me).
Did the seller tell you that?

Im thinking she might be a rehair since the end of the tail is so super straight. The hair itself also looks so new and shiny. The tone of hair also seems to be a little strange but that could be the lighting. Crossing my fingers for you that shes real :)

Tiara: She was writing it under the auction. I have no clue what you both talked about.
Let's just wait and see. It tooks a week again when she will arrive. I'm super excited!

She is definitely a rare one. The end of the tail does look overly straight, however fingers crossed she is a real one!

I do hope she is not a rehair, this does seem to be happening more and more these days. You will be able to check the tail washer, attached is a picture of a tail washer from the clean up I did for Conny on her Blue Moon purchased years ago.

The Original tail washer was rusted out and I replaced it with an Italian doaner washer.
Italy washers are very unique. You can see it is a flat washer with a circular piece of metal which is slightly flat to keep the tail in place with a pull string.

I checked back the auction to see but the only info I found there was my question and the answer to it that the neck was sealed. See here (it's in french though):

Where do you mean the seller wrote anything about the tail clamp? Did my browser mess up in any way?

I'm pretty sure mapeline is a member here :) she's not posted for a long time though.
The only way to be sure will be to remove the ponies head.

Unfortunately, she is a rehair. But she is very well done, you can see it only when you open her. The seller was so kind to give me a refund. I kept her. She is a treasure. :)
