So with the influx of Venezuelan Ponies and the popularity of South American Ponies Once again Hitting a High, who has added a New Peru Pony to their Herd?
I know there have been a lot up on ebay recently.
I have added one and received her just today.

Here are all my Peruvians so far, and I have a lovely pegasus Baby Blossom on the way. My Baby Medley will be NM if I ever get around to defrizzing her tail; I need to buy a flatiron.

I haven't gotten mine yet that I purchased but I'm excited to see her..will post her when I do...love these nirvanas and really liking the bowtie unicorn,wow...hope to have more then one someday...getting close to having my US collection near complete,branching into nirvana will be fun,thanks shelti and hugs my pal

I do love Peru ponies and their scent! I haven't added a new one for some time though. I think the last I bought was either semi-MOC Tootsie or the MOC Ponywear - it's been that long I don't remember! Loose ponies I think the last was Blossom, as she was pesky to get my hands on. Let's see what pics I have in my photobucket...

Lol, maybe! I've just realised that I never added Blossom to my master list! :faint: Some of my Peru ponies I got years ago, before a lot of the sellers accepted paypal (I think there was just one who did back then) so I used to pay with Xoom. It made them a lot cheaper ;)

Dream On...we have seen the blister cards but never one MOC :lookround:
other then katrina's Pony Place - South African Pony Site and that website is no longer up and running

almost -I i just need columbia, SA, India* (and Japan, though i will feel complete w/out it since it isn't the g1 mold)
*I have the closest we've seen from India (with original hair plastic ring and comb) but not in package
(can't wait to see if we ever find one.....i feel like the ones i had sent to me years ago might have come out of a package before they were sent :cry: - still haunts me).
so close but sooooooo far.....wishing for one from Colombia or SA to magically appear :)

they were size XL if i remember correctly!!! they came with pony clothes as well :)

it was a looooong time ago and i got her from a collector in germany :) she is not a rehair i have checked inside her head :) there are two of her, mine and one in the gallery ;)

This is my Peru Windy
She is my only Peru pony so far.
Here are her before and after photos, I made her pretty for my personal collection. Her mane and tail were dry and frizzy in my eyes. I love her new look and I hope everyone else is cool with me fixing her the way I did. So please forgive me as I'm kinda a nirvana newbie and hope it's cool how I fixed her.

Oh I don't know how to rehair...and I tried to curl her mane with straws but I didnt like the look of how the green wouldn't curl too,the green is stubborn so I just washed,brushed and wrapped it around her head wet...and I hope it was ok that I beheaded her to let her dry,her head was not damaged at all...and her plastic seems very soft and a little different to US plastic...

Nice Pony Pal, I don't do anything with the hair except wash and maybe condition it. Use a hair pick to unsnarl it and a lot of the natural curl should bounce back. These girls with the short and curly hair have a very different texture then some of the other Peru Ponies.

the green hair is mental! it is the first colour to frizz, so you can have a pony with
pink ~ smooth
yellow ~ smooth
green ~ CRINKLY!!!!!!
blue ~ smooth
i do find peru hair responds well to a good condition, you can even use a flat iron if you are very careful and use a low heat (the green hair is very heat sensitive!)
IMHO you did the right thing to remove her head to let her dry :hug: it is also good to check her inside for rust and mould too!
the bodies do feel different don't they? it is all part of the pony and what makes her unique to peru :)

couldn't afford her though as I wanted to win that curly haired pegasus blossom really bad (and I won her) .. But sure wish I had won them both. She is stunning! :)

Thought I would add the latest additions to my pony family to the Peru thread, the beautiful Ribbon.
I haven't had chance to take any good photos of her yet...
Glory is also a new arrival, she is currently sunfading and already faded a few shades whiter : )
