Oooh, thanks for this. Cherry Treats, sorry girl. :( But I've at least got a few other girls who will benefit from this. Do you have any other suggestions for Cherry Treats, or is she stuck yellow?

I had a question about sun fading a pony & figured I'd bump this already helpful thread instead of starting my own...
I recently bought a birth flower pony and she's sorta yellow. Has anyone had problems with them "tanning?" If not, I really wanna get her in the window!  :)

Certain ponies do tan, but I don't think the birthflowers are one of them!

Birthflowers are OK for sunfading. There are many members that have had amazing results after some time in the sun!

Lavender Ember's pen mark is almost gone.  She's been in my car for less than 5 days.

Yep, it's pretty amazing what direct sunlight will do. Do you have her eyes covered up?

I have a baby Moondancer with pink highlighter all over her body. I've been sunfading her for weeks, just the whole body exposed and I've been noticing "Sunburn" on her side. So I've had to cover up her body and just continue sunfading her head.

wow! I can't wait to try this with my G1 bride, she has some pink highlighter blemishes and all over yellowing. Hope it works as well for me as it has for you! how did you cover that intricate design just with tape on sugar berry? doesn't all the plastic need to be exposed to the sun? Thanks for the tutorial :)

Gret tutorial!

I have a yellowed/discolored Baby Lucky, has anyone tried sunfading him? Do you guys think he would benefit of the try or should I just leave him be?

I haven't tried to fade him, but he's common for yellowing. You can try, I'd cover his symbol, eyes and maybe wrap his hair up.

Thanks for this! I'm getting an Argentina Whizzer who's covered in red marker, so I can't wait to give this a try.
