The three babies are still alive I put a small pellet in the other day and they all came to eat. I changed my mind about the snails and I'm going to get 5 of the sun spiked ones. I have to prep the tank with the magnetic mesh top though, so they can't crawl out. I'm going to scrub what algae I can. Think I'll unplug the heater and scrub that too. The top and sides of the filter housing could use a cleaning too. There's a white build up - lime? Calcium? Something. I suppose I should wipe the light too.

I still want to get more shrimp, the crayfish, and I've added clams to my list. I'm also looking into getting a bigger tank. I can't go too big, my apartment lease doesn't allow large tanks. Just something bigger that still fits on my desk, maybe a 15 gallon.

My orange cat lit her tail on fire once... so glad I was there to put it out because she had NO idea. Sweet Mousie. I miss her.

I would suggest lighting a candle when you are working, since they are already by your work space. I like to light mine while I'm at my desk. It's hot now though and I always have the fan on, so I've been using them less because they don't burn very well with a breeze on them.

But yeah. When you know you are going to be at your work station for a while, I would light one If you need to get up for any length of time, like to make something to eat, blow it out so your kitty doesn't get too curious.

As far as forgetting, just put it close to where your line of vision is. Like, if you're working on an iPad or something but it above that, so it's always in your peripheral. Hard to forget when it's in your face

PBW, don't look on Etsy at the hand dyed yarn! I don't even knit (yet) and I've got a wishlist of yarn with like hundreds on it

Today, I should clean up the bathroom at some point. Aster's dishes need to be washed. Other than that, I've got nothing going on so I guess today is a gaming day. I've caught up on Planet Zoo and know how to play again I have trouble starting a zoo though. There are so many animals to choose from (I have all the DLC) it takes me forever to pick out what I want to make a habitat for.

I also got Aster's dishes washed and refilled. I still need to clean the bathroom, but I feel like cleaning up the kitchen instead. I got stuff to make tacos!

The marks on Galaxy and Lady Flutter definitely sound like regrind. Sweet Clovers sounds like discoloration, if they are mainly by her hooves and ears. Have you opened her up?

Haven't heard anything about it in Florida. Looks like the CDC is monitoring people just in Texas.

Florida's big thing is mosquito borne illnesses. We still had the zika virus up until a few years ago.

Oh, I forgot about regrind. That's a whole 'nother thing and you can't get rid of it.
