Where do you get one....

I use Zedge App on Android to get tones/notifications/icons/wallpapers and they have a LOT of pony related stuff for free. I'm ..rather happy that I have an android as a friend who has a new Iphone... found out she can't customize her ringtones at all and misses her droid

You can customise your ringtones on an iphone, but it's pretty complicated.  It sounds much easier on a droid.

heh yeah with the app you download hit set and it asks where you want to set it as.

I have Call Upon The Sea Ponies and the G1 and G2 intro theme, then I have some of the FIM and EG songs, and I have ALL the G3's songs, I mean, I made mp3s of all the songs of the tv shows and movies, I also have mp3s of the CD A Very Minty's Christmas 

Now my ringtone is "We are the ladybugs", my other faves are "Colours of the Rainbow", "Shine On", "Breezie Blossom", and the instrumental music that appears at the end of the movies, I use those as alarm tones

Yes, I have the instrumental version of the original g1 theme song.  I also have one with the words but the instrumental version is slightly less embarrassing if it goes off in public.

I downloaded an app called Ringtones and then I purchased whole versions of the songs I wanted from iTunes.  I used the Ringtones app to cut down the song to the segment I wanted.  Then I had to down load that segment to my pc and then upload it again.

Yeah, not exactly simple on the iPhone.

As soon as I upgraded to a smart phone(3 days ago) I had to pony fy my phone. For me there was no question "Call Upon The Sea Ponies" had to by my ringtone. I had wanted it for years. I also set notifications to ponies ect. What pony things are on your phone.

I had that one for years but could never find it in the iTunes Store so sadly mine is bland now:

I just downloaded an mp3 of the song I wanted, then trimmed out all but the section I wanted with Audacity (a free sound editing software ). Then I sent the file to my phone.

Honestly, I just did mine old-school by recording the sounds I wanted, then going into my notification and ringtone settings to set the recordings as my preferred tones. lol

I don't have a pony ringtone currently but I used to have an 8-bit version of the FiM opening and my alarm is now the Smile Song 8-bit.

Oh man...now I want some kind of pony related sound for when I get a text/SMS message!
