Watch it a little while ago. In love with it!! I've always been a huge sailor moon fan. I can't wait to see the scouts. Especially Rae. Her and Serena and favorite scouts. Yeah I know her name is different but she will always be Serena to me.

I believe it is only going to come on every other Saturday.

Managed to snag a view of it yesterday.

I like what I see soo far and just have a few tiny >< moments (lunas voice, for example, doesn't jive with me)

I had fears that they srew it up... but i think its nice ...in places the emotions of the pictures are wooden but the speakers are great and the transformation scene is well done.

I'm verry exited for the next episode.

So do I! All the little details from the manga that would have been too hard to animate in the original series are there, like Usagi's broach design and her choker for example. I also loved how they had the borders around people when they introduced them, just like in many of the mangas. I am looking forward to the next episode. I still like the original series best, because it's very nostalgic for me, but I really like where they are going with this new incarnation.

I watched it on Crunchy Roll yesterday. It was amazing!! I have been a Sailor Moon fan for like, 15 years now and I love the reboot. A lot of the borders and between-scene art reminded me of my other favorite anime series, Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Yay Sailor Moon discussion! I was really happy with the story, and with the details in the background/etc, but I'm still not used to the new art style. Usagi still doesn't look like her.. it's still even a little different from the manga, but I think I just need to get used to it. I'm so happy she has the same voice actress! I can't wait to see more <3

So do you guys think they'll keep going and do it all ? Last I heard, it was unknown whether it was going to be more than these 26 (or so) episodes.

I really hope they do.. I want to see the Outers !

I'm not 100% sure what they're going to do with it yet. I do know the reason it looks more like the manga is that this style they're going with what Naoko Takeuchi originally wanted (art, costume, storyline, etc.) I've heard that she originally wanted to end the series after the first season, and that she was pushed to continue the show due to popularity (one of the possibilities why Sailor Moon R wasn't so good IMO-sorry to those who liked it, though the other seasons were great:D ) So my guess is if they are really doing this by her rules, these 26 ish eps may be it, but then again, who knows really? If it becomes super popular, they might want to stick with it. Just my thoughts.

I'm super excited! I hope they slow it down a little though as the manga went a little fast in some areas and the original anime had a bare smidgen of the mythology in it and just cut down Tuxedo Mask's potential. The art style is very pretty and suitably sparkly.
I don't think one can ever be too old for Sailor Moon....or ponies for that matter. <3

I missed the original 'boom' of SM in the states, because I wasn't girly enough. However, I watched all of the original show in the last few years and was looking forward to the reboot.

I like that it is closer to the manga, with less filler/bubbles and the art style. I like that they kept the transformation close to the original.

I hate that there is CG is in the transformation scene. Not just regular all-out CG which would've been fine, but no, a horrible cheap looking CG/art mashup style. I also dislike the "gloss" that new anime have, which this suffers from.

However, after seeing the preview for episode 2, it looks like the quality is a little better. None of this will stop me from watching the show at all, but they are legitimate complaints.
