I'm preparing a rollerskating Melody to sell. She used to work perfectly but when I tried her now she won't roll although the mechanism is in working order.
I can wind her up by pulling back the wheels but when I put her down she is just standing there while the wheels spin. It seems the plastic in the mechanism wheels has aged and hardened so the problem is they no longer "grip" the surface.

Are all rollerskaters like this or are yours still working? I'm going to check mine but I don't have them all at hand right now, the only other one I have at hand is a mib.
Is there a way to fix it? The wheel needs more friction so I'm thinking a thin rubber band around it? Or double sided tape?

How much will it take her value down? I was so happy to be able to offer a near perfect complete and working rollerskater and then it turns out she won't move

Card in good/ok condition. Marker in upper left corner.
Bubble has an indent but not broken.
The pony has two tinsel strands in her tail that are twice the normal length, they reach over the brush and above it. Oddly there is also a small loose piece of *pink* tinsel inside.
One strand of hair in her tail is reaching out from the bubble.
The bubble is sealed all the way and there are no signs of it having been tampered with or anything so I can only think she was messed up like this in production.

Musical pony Muse
This one I didn't find any ended auctions for on ebay, and the price archives here only had one match:
it was for a loose complete but not working Muse, 2015, said $22.
Mine is moc, I can see some excess glue by the neck joint, other than that looking good and working condition (plays music)
So I have no idea. $60? $50? more?

Wednesday afternoon Dancer (flawed)
Had she been in good condition I would ask $40-50-ish.
But she has this problem, her eye colour has bled 
I think she would prefer to come out of the package and be cleaned..
So what is she worth in this condition? $20? $25? or open and clean her and sell her loose..?

You know how many of the old mlp sites are no longer working. I really miss some of them, like Lady Twilight's acc guide.

The Rereleases Encyclopedia was very good for G3 id, it had not been updated in a long time but still very useful and and it was up and running.
Now when I go there I get a 404 error message.. or is it just me?

Some of my G3s have cute hats and other acc on them. Most have clear plastic elastics to hold them in place. Now ~12 yrs later it seems they are worn out, lost their elasticity.. I was going to put Toboggans hat back on her and the elastic snapped. I love her crazy longhat but without the elastic it will not stay on.
Do you have this problem too? What would be a good replacement?
I have found replacement elastic for G1 acc like the princess hats but with the G3s I would like to use clear plastic. Searching ebay I found two types of items: tiny hair ties and some sort of cord used for jewellery making. Is the jewellery cord the same type as on the G3 acc? Would it be safe to use on ponies? And is there any type that will hold up longer so I don't have to change it every five years or so?

Pony in good/ok condition:
hair, eyes, cheek blushes, fins - all good
but she has discolorations, the typical mottled look along her tail on both sides
a faint mark that may be cancer near her hairline on non display side

Shell, comb, brush - all good
there is a ribbon included as well but I don't think it's her original

The box is in poor condition. But I'm including it as shipping will be the same anyway.
it has all kinds of faults -
tears, creases, marks, surface damage where the tape used to sit
the cellofan plastic is broken badly and the inner part of the box is missing

Where is this clip from? (at bottom of picture) It's a blue clip with red hair and silver tinsel.
I have one of these and have been wondering if it's a customized item, then I spotted the one in the picture, it's from a uk auction that ended a couple of months ago. It looks exactly like mine.
It doesn't match the ones that came with the Pretty Ups sets, and it doesn't look like it came with a Dance n Prance pony either.
I have checked My Little Wiki and Lady Twilights acc guide (greatponies.com) and it's not on there.
I guess there might exist variations to the Pretty Ups sets or to various playset acc? Or is it a non mlp acc, from some other Hasbro toy line?
