Title: Non-Pony brag: New camera!
Post by: wystearya on May 02, 2018, 09:15:55 AM: First let me say I am not good at photography, and my new camera cost less than $100. So, don't expect too much here. :P

My old camera was at least ten years old. Ate batteries like a bottomless pit, and was very slow to react when pressing the button to take pictures. I was tired of it!

So, I finally bought myself a new camera. It is a Kodak PixPro FZ53 and was about $80 at Wal-mart. Not fancy, but an upgrade none the less!

Here are a few pictures I have taken with it so far:

Some Unicorno figures. This one didn't turn out so great, maybe bad light or my unsteady hand. Not sure.

All in all, I'm happy with this camera. Not professional, and not the best quality. However, it is much easier for me to use than my old one and the price was right. I think I will keep it. ^.^

What do you guys think? Any tips for my picture-taking?

And lol, I hear ya on the 'dumb phone' thing! It's what I have and intend to keep as long as possible! (Mostly because I am cheap.)
