Baby birds!

We have had quite a few this year.

This morning I was inspected by the baby bluetits, one of which came and sat on my window ledge. I'm sure it was looking inside, as it didn't react like it was seeing a reflection. There are at least three of them hopping around outside. With the baby sparrows, starlings. ,magpies and pigeons, it's been a busy year...

So far I have been inspected by baby bluetits, sparrows and one squawking magpie, who clearly didn't like that he couldn't get inside

I just put my bed together!

I was going to stay up again because my bed was so uncomfortable, but I knew that wouldn't get me anywhere. So I sucked it up and got it done. It took almost 3 hours with frequent breaks but it's done. The new box spring is metal and doubles as the frame too. It's nice and roomy underneath for storage. I flipped my mattress around so the saggy part is now on the other side near the foot of the bed. My side is so lofty and bouncy. My spine is actually supported!

Tomorrow I'll wash all the bedding. For tonight I've got a blanket on the mattress and my pillows without cases. I can't wait to get into it and sleep! I'm just waiting to cool off, I'm all sweaty.

Aster was confused and nervous through the whole thing. She likes to sleep under the bed sometimes and goes there when it's storming. I left room for her.

I felt pretty good all day today I only had to take my pain pills once in the late afternoon. I was super lazy and just played games all day. I hope to sleep the night away in my comfy bed

I finished putting up my students work on the wall and that was something that was taking me ages. I just kinda sucked it up and went for it. The work is so pretty.

When I got back from lunch, my spot was still open in the (normally packed) parking garage. Love it when that happens!

School was interesting today. I motivated my friend to come back to school at like 9pm last night. She and I talked this morning and I enjoyed that. I also passed my drive test today. I have a temporary license for ten days. I have my grandmas old 2013 Kia Soul. I am still working on my speed and acceleration too.

Today my stepdad’s surgery went smoothly. He had a minor bleeding complication, but otherwise yay!

I bought some black flared jeans that were on clearance at Walmart for 3 dollars. That is AMAZING to me, considering I’m used to paying MUCH more for plus sized jeans. They’re still plus sized, but I haven’t worn this smaller size in like 13 years! I’m hyped!

I came home from work this morning and my husband had taken out the garbage and recycling AND boiled me some eggs .
