How funny I was talking about string-type voo doo dolls earlier today and while browsing the toy section at Wal-mart this afternoon I came across a new series of string-type voo doo dolls called Zumbies that I hadn't heard of before. There were only two left and I bought them. Yay for finding a store I regularly visit outside of town is out of the blue carrying string-type voo doo dolls! :frolic:

Reading this thread reminded me of way back in the day, when someone was selling bottled virginity. Just in case you lost yours, so you could have a replacement lol.

Man, that makes me sad now.  I LOVED the haunted Furby listings on Ebay.

Furbies didn't need any help in that department.  Seriously.  When you were done with Furby, you really HAD to take the batteries out and store it in like, the garage.  Otherwise it woke up eventually and spent the rest of its sad AI existence wondering why it was so hated and feared.  :D

In less seriousness, yeah I also thought +1 initially.

But really... there are a lot of things that can be sold with a perfectly good legal disclaimer, but I find Ebay's policy to protect themselves from lawsuits is pretty infringing on religious grounds.  I don't typically make Tarot or anything like that part of my daily life, but I can see why a person might want to buy a certain incense or herb or salve...  I agree that things like psychic readings sight-unseen (Skype is different!) and haunted items and stuff that isn't proveable in ways admissable in a court - ie., legally, are NOT going to fly well with Ebay.  They'll kick 'em right off the broom, they will.  Hahaha.  Sorry.  *ahem Serious again*  I think it's terrible that Ebay just wants to ban the whole category pretty much rather than word their policy to say it's up to the seller to include a proper disclaimer.  I mean, publishers can pretty much send anything out to the general public as long as they throw in that little paragraph about fictional and author's imagination, so how hard would it be to say that one's Ebay business is responsible for that kind of thing?  Geeeeeeez.

Bottled virginity looks a lot like strawberry jam with a new label for some reason.
