Customs / Testors Color Shift Aerosols: Are they ok for pony plastic?

Ok I'll admit that the only Testors Aerosol products I've used on ponies has been the dullcoat but I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and ran across the Color Shifts by them. I've used Folkart color shift (but it's a brush on and I haven't 100% had a chance to use it on a pony) but I wanted to give the testors ones a try.

I originally planned on using it on a harder plastic horse and some of my 3D prints but the idea of using it on a pony is something I would like to do as well. Of course I'd sacrifice a fakie first XD

But has anyone used ANY of the Testors Aerosols on ponies other than the Dullcoat?

Wanted! / Wanted: Fakie Rarity G4 Seapony

Been a while since I did a "Wanted" thread.

I'm currently looking for a fakie version of G4 rarity in seapony form. I cannot use her normal official version because she is a unicorn and I need either the Pegasus base or the Earth Base (Pegasus base preferred)

This is basically what I'm looking for here, image is not mine as I pulled it off of another site that sells them but I only need 1 pony not 30 ponies lol

Ok everyone who is into Pokemon should have by now heard about the demo leaks for Pokemon Gold/Silver.

I'm looking at this list of the Pokemon and thinking "Man why didn't we get a fire bear?" or "Why didn't we get some of those baby Pokemon!?"

I think a lot of the designs were interesting and some of them were kind of "What in the blue blazes is THAT?!"

Which ones do you wish were in the game that never made it or never had a redesign for later?

Ok I know I have another thread sitting here somewhere but thing is I don't do art enough to really need one thread for everything. Plus in my mind one thread gives me a false sense of things (or the fact that when I tried it before it still died XD)

Crystal used to not be a pony but after years of not being able to draw her as a proper equine (it's funny that I can draw a pony but not a horse!) and she is quite happy to be finally remembered and redrawn! I could not find any of my old art of her so a good bit of this was by memory and even then there are a lot of changes. Originally she was a character I had on Neopets...

But I already have a full explanation on my DA page so if you would like to read there then by all means :D
Still not happy with shading but oh well!

The Dollhouse / MLP Megan's Dress Pattern?

I'm specifically asking here because well this is mostly doll related despite Megan is MLP.

I recently took out my MLP Megan doll to look at something for someone, then I got to looking at her dress and though "Hmm her body is about the same size as the Pinkie Cooper dolls.."

So I took out Pepper who I have been trying to find clothing for and only been mildly successful... and gave Megan's dress a try... Amazingly it fits! Even Pepper's paws/hands fit through the sleeves without a problem!

So because this is the one piece of clothing that 100% fits Pepper... is there a pattern out there for G1 Megan's dress? I'd make my own pattern but I don't want to wreck the only dress I have for her.

Finally got around to working on another pony! While I still don't like how I shade, I'm proud on the idea that I decided to attempt Twinkle Eyes (since crystals and gems are my mortal enemies in the drawing world!)

Her hair was also a pain to color lol!

This was a remake of an old image I did back in 2009. I could not do the exact same pose only because the anatomy wasn't all that great and even if i tried it wouldn't look right anymore XD So similar pose but with a better look XD

Also my name on DA has changed from sd-dreamcrystal to FableDreams, which would be why the logo in the image doesn't match my name here xD

Apparently Shopkins is jumping onto the pony train now, much like what Lalaloopsie did for a while. So of course I had to do some investigating. One pony news site covers these a bit but I cannot link to that site, but there is at least one YouTube channel that kind of showcases these... although they don't have the actual items, they just have a slide show of the product images.

However, I did find some other places that showed these (including Pinterest XD)

This is what I found

There are at least 5 of these ponies
They are part of the Happy Places lines so they are probably about the same size as G4s
One is supposed to be a Unicorn
They each come with a petkin that acts as a accessory
The pink pony is named Bella Bliss
The cream/yellow is named PoniCrumble
The unicorn one is named Cutiecorn and seems to have almost Celestia's colors
Bella comes in a pack called Princessed Puppy Garden Party
Cutiecorn comes in a pack called Pampered Pony Stable
Poni comes in the Pampered Pony Stable Welcome Pack
A 4th pony that is shown on the Welcome Pack that shares Cheerilee's colors
The short videos on two of them were posted on YouTube in Oct and Nov
Another video shows a pony called Ponicakes, guess who she goes with!
They are tagged with the Season 4 Happy Places

And of course the Wiki lists them too!

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Star Stable: Is it worth playing

In my search for games Star Sable is one of the few games I considered maybe getting. However, I want to know if it's worth playing? I have a bad habit with games that once I get to a certain point I just drop the game.. and with games you pay to play that is not a good thing.

Being a player that loves games more focused on animals (although I do enjoy a good simulation game like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory 4, and RPGs like Final Fantasy among other games of that genre) I'm looking for something that I will enjoy playing for a long time and since I haven't played a horse focused game in a long time, well I'm hoping Star Stable will do that.

Ok I know this is not everyone's cup of tea when it comes to G4, however, I'm interested in these (more for custom reasons though)

Has anyone in the US spotted the wave 2 singles of the reboot series in the US yet? I know they are currently on amazon but I was hoping to spot them in store soon. Though it would help if I remembered how long Wave 1 has been out but still I was hoping to see them in stores soon xD

The Dollhouse / Stringing BJDs help please.

Hey guys,

Recently I 3D printed a BJD Dragon and I'm working on 3D printing another one in another color. Anyway I followed the video instructions for stringing it but the person only showed how to do it and didn't say how much tension is needed for the joints..

So my issue with the dragon is that his legs keep springing up because if I didn't have the elastic tight enough the legs would not hold XD
The maker of this Dragon states that the elastic needs to be 2mm to 3mm and I think I might have gotten 1mm - 1.5mm from the local craft store but I'm not sure if that is the size of that cord (Is there away to tell? Because the packaging isn't telling me. It does look close to the 2mm I bought off of eBay.)
