Pony Corral / Re: TOY SHOW: Hasbro introduces MLP Guardians of Harmony

Is.. is this fake? It can't be real. It's too cool to be real.

But seriously, now here are some articulated ponies I like! The necks are a bit tall, but it's pretty fitting for the character models.

Pony Corral / Re: Does Yum Yum have yellow or green hair?

I believe her hair is chartreuse, which I guess technically is green that has a ton of yellow in it. I bet the differences in the pictures you're found are contrast issues. I think the pic on mylittlewiki is pretty accurate.

I think you'd like her, mlp hair that's chartreuse is very "neon" in person.

Pony Corral / Re: What's the worst/most nonsensical MLP merch you've seen?

I was hoping to see that "Bronies" shirt! It's my favorite nonsense pony shirt. It was even better when it came out. Bronies seem to have more interest in previous gens nowadays, but at the time, there was NO ONE that wanted that shirt unironically!

Pony Corral / Pony collector mentioned in Ripley's Believe it or Not
« on: January 26, 2016, 01:30:20 PM »
Ponies appeared in the Sunday funnies again! Last time it was a child's drawing of Applejack featured in Slylock Fox. This time, a collector named Ian from Derbyshire was featured in Ripley's Believe it or Not! (along with some BaB ponies) for how much money he spent in five years on his collection. Anyone we know?  ;)

To be fair, if I had to hide something little, I'd hide it in a pony. Maybe not something biodegradable, but yeah.

Wow it took me a sad amount of time to catch that this person put a stash inside MUNCHY. If that's what happened. lol

Oh crap you're right!  :haha: Someone had a sense of humor!

I have totally done this not with MIB ponies, but with Pokemon Audley/TOMY japanese figures from 1998! They have a backcard and a clear plastic bubble- like a full on semi-hemisphere of a bubble that will easily get dents on it! On the bottom of the backcard I will take a toothpick or coffee stirrer straw and try to pry it in there and aim for the air pocket without tearing the glue from the backcard and plastic *it's nerve wrecking* once the tool of choice is in, I try to push the dent outward from the inside until it pops back into shape!

That's funny you mention them, because that's exactly the toys I'm dealing with. :) I did notice a tiny space at the bottom of them were I could stick a tiny thing in. Maybe I could bend a paper clip or something. But I looked up what nice MOC Auldey Pokemon figures are going for on eBay, it's so cheap I'm wondering if it'd even be worth it to struggle fixing them.

Make someone read to you from time to time so your arms don't get tired from holding the book over your head.

And if so, how did you do it?

I have not yet tried extensive heat from a hair dryer. I tried it for a quick session, but got bored quickly, realizing I'd have to commit more time to that method. Since I know it will take a long time, I though I'd ask if this actually works before I try it myself.

I've tried using particularly sticky tape to physically pull the plastic back into shape, no success.

I think an army or "Twinkleshine through the ages" army, (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Twinkleshine) made up of all the ponies in each gen that are pink with a simple stars symbol. It'd contain Twinkleshine (G4), Princess Twinkle Star (G2), and Twilight (G1), specifically that one Mexican Twi that has no horn. I'd include variants on the two Tinkles, but I'd probably have to limit the Twilights to just that one Mexi and classic Twi, or else it would turn into a Twilight army!

But that'd be a silly army, because I don't have a special liking for any of these ponies. I just found it interesting that ponies that looked like her kept popping up over the decades.

My collecting rules for the bigger-sized ponies include "no repeats" and "avoid expensive ponies/variants," the only pony I've been tempted to break the rules for is Up Up and Away. I love the pony, and her nirvana versions are very unique, if not the prettiest.

I actually would dig that orange unicorn if it really did have those angry eyes instead of it just being a bad photoshop job. And if it actually had both eyes instead of one right in the middle of its head... actually, what am I saying, a cyclops pony would be pretty cool!
