Pony Corral / Re: Flatfoot vs concave ponies

Today when I was sorting through my collection, I came across this mystery flat footed Butterscotch.  I have no idea where I got her from!  Unlike a normal FF, she has no markings on her hooves at all.  Am genuinely confounded as to her history and origin.  Have any of you seen a FF like this before?  ANy information would be greatly appreciated!  :)

Starstrider, I need to do some research, but at a glance with those eyelashes, hair and no hoof markings my first thought with your butterscotch is that she might be Mexican?

Quick research done, and yes, I am thinking Mexican (Auriken specifically) for you starstrider.

Thank you so much for this!  She's my first Mexican pony, so I was unfamiliar with the characteristics.  Am looking forward to adding to my Mexican herd.  Thanks again!  :)

That is Mexican Butterscotch ^.^

They can have very flat feet and a slightly elephant like stance :)

Love pkw xxx

Ooooh!  Thank you for identifying her!  I have no idea where I got her from, but she's my first Mexican baby!  How exciting!  Shame about her haircut, but she's still beautiful  :)

I'm pretty picky, TBH.  Uneven colour/head and body different shades.  Teeth marks/damage from chewing.  Pen marks (initials on bottom of hooves acceptable).  Tail rust, regrind, cancer, hair cuts.

Good job!  She polished up nicely  :)

Tried to vote, but it wouldn't let me!

G1 will always be my favourite, hands down.  I'm fond of G3 and G4 ponies, but they don't fuel my passion as much as the original vintage G1s.

No armies, but I ended up with four SS FiFis, and I have no idea how I managed that :P  Also ended up with 6 Moondancers at one point in the quest of finding her with a white body and good glitter symbols.

Pony Corral / Mystery Pony! Please Help Identify Her!

Hey all!  ^.^

I've been having a big clean out of my collection, and I came across this girl whom I have no memory of buying.  This Butterscotch has completely unmarked flat feet, but unlike the normal flat feet Y1 collector pose ponies, there's no identifying stamp at all.

I thought she could have been a No Country product, but even the No Country ponies usually have a patent stamp, don't they?  So curious! What are your thoughts?  Have you seen this before?  Any information would be very helpful!
