I'm looking at a pile of thrift/2nd hand ponies here in my room that need to be cleaned, some of the poor things have nasty looking black stuff that I don't know could be mold or what, but I'm just wondering if some expert pony cleaners out there have any advice: What kinds of alternate cleaning solutions can you use on ponies? I have some basic all-purpose cleaner 409, nail polish remover, and dishwasher soap. I also have toothpaste just in case of rust. Is this enough to fully disinfect/clean a pony with what could possibly be mold on the inside? Also, I have no idea what 409 cleaner could do to a pony so I thought I'd ask if it's a good idea or not  Thanks! I know my ponies would appreciate any help.

Was out thrift shopping today, and I found a bag of ponies that I seem to have groundhog day finding... I must have a bazillion Sunny Dazes. lol
Anyways, I saw a FS Rarity in a bag. Is she worth it to go back and grab? I don't collect the fashion show ponies, but maybe for someone else. Is she rare/sought-after?

I'm thinking of using sculpture add-ons to my customs like wings, horns, and such, except I do not know what kind of clay to use. Any suggestions and pictures/examples of what you use?  Thanks for the help! P.S. in case some clays work better on certain generations than others, the ponies I have to customize right now are G1s.

So......... I may be an idiot, but there is no version of Bowtie that has a blue streak in her hair is there? There's a seller on ebay that has a Bowtie in a lot with three other ponies and I am wondering if it is actually blue rooted hair or maybe just a marker. Thoughts?  Just search ebay for "My Little Pony Bowtie" under 'most recent' and she'll be in the pic with Springy, Princess Starburst, and Ruby Lips.

Last night I had a horrid pony sense.... that I must go thrifting today. So I did, and it was great!  I had to leave behind Autumn Sky, Scootaloo, and a G3.5 Rainbow Dash because they were each in separate bags that were $5 each. x.x so, not a good deal.  I got all excited this morning thinking about next summer's pony fair, it got me thinking about what kind of games and game ideas that you guys have! Let's discuss! ~ How about a game where a group of people get together and put all their names with their pony wishlist (all in a folded up piece of paper) in a big hat, and each person grabs a paper to see which person they got. Then they have the weekend to get their partner one pony off their wishlist (between a certain budget), and give it to them at the end of the fair. There are plenty of booths to buy ponies from anyways! ~

I found these two brushes from a pile of childhood junk in the garage and I was wondering if they are pony brushes. They don't look familiar and my parents firmly reassured me that I did not have any pony toys growing up, but I am curious nonetheless. So I normally do not buy LPS because I can really only afford ponies... but I was at TRU with the coupon in my hand aching to get something new and right across the pony isle were the LPS... and I saw the cutest things ever. BABY pets. OMG. I could not resist. I bought the baby horse, cat, and seal... D: too cute! Just a real quick question: I have some thrift store G3s that I'm fixing up. They all have frizzy/messy hair, so I am going to use hot water (almost boiled). One girl, Strawberry Surprise, has tinsel and I want to know from all you experienced folk if tinsel will melt from hot water. Also, would you recommend boiling/hot water or straightening iron (or both) to fix frizzy hair? Thanks for the help.

Took Whizzer (and my dad lol) to San Francisco for the day. I carried her around in my purse for cheers while dad and I went thrifting (no ponies sadly, but awesome new leather boots for a steal!!) It was super fun. The first time at Geoffrey's Toy Shop, and I thought it was thrift  since I looked online but I guess only the comics were second hand. But I did see the traveling mane 6 girls there. So if anyone saw Whizzer on the dashboard of a van driving erratically around the city, that was us!!!  Anyone else carry ponies in their purse? ^^

If you can ignore my awkward looking arms and face, you will see that my fair poster arrived today!!! I didn't get to go to the fair this year, but the poster was so awesome, I couldn't help myself. Can't say I ever actually had an imaginary friend, but I used to obsessively pretend I was a certain magical creature. The same one, over and over when I had nobody to play with. She was a princess from a faraway land who had been taken away as a baby and raised under a different family. Sometimes she was a cat (mostly), flying unicorn, or dragon. I also used to pretend I was "Fred" and refer to myself in 3rd person.  Kind of embarrassing!! lol So what are your stories?

I have some stories about this, which makes me wonder what really will happen next. But of course, this doesn't have to be only about the future of the show or toy line, but maybe a pony - or any other kind - of dream that you've had that really came true! I am curious, so let's get down, it's story time! I had a dream once that I was in a thrift store and I found a box of all these ponies, some were rare like mountain boys Lightening, Tornado, and another boy with a dull purple body and purple hair. There were also flutters and I saw surprise, heart throb, and all those older ones. The last set of ponies I found were the wingers: Buzzer, Whirly, Ladybird, and Flurry. I was going to buy them all, so I first picked up Flurry- but then I woke up.  Later I found out that the boy pony I saw was named Thundercloud, so that was exciting. Not too long after, I went thrifting for my birthday and found Flurry in a bag by herself, so I snatched her up and bought her! ^^ You're turn!
