I have Baby Surprise, but she still needs her mom, the poor thing!

I would love to get the pearly version of Baby Surprise (of course, I want every pearly pony!) as well as the mom's flocked version as well.

I have a de flocked Adilt Surprise (had also NSS one, but she became Paradise), I also have her baby.

Gonna re root them with green hair that matches their cartoon conterparts.

The first Surprise I ever had was Italian. No version was sold here so I guess someone bought her on holiday. She came from the carboot sale.

Since being online I have added some others. I believe I have regular and SS loose...regular adult moc. Baby...pearly baby...painted symbol baby and the plush mum and baby. I know I have the plush baby because she is in my room but I think mama is in the loft...

I don’t think I have any ither Nirvana than the Italian one but because she was my first she is kind of my Surprise benchmark.

Pass. I never liked Surprise. Great colors and very cute pony, but she's essentially Jokey Smurf.

This was when I was trying to take a picture of each different one but I couldn't find my Italian one. The plush and the one in the middle are my childhood ones ^-^ I wrote my name on her back in blue and around the wings. Cut her forlock... My mom found the plush Surprise and Baby Surprise when she worked at Goodwill one year in the early 90's, so many ponies she got us then =D

I have Baby Surprise, and he (in my ponyland baby surprise is a he) is my favorite G1 baby pony ever! I got him when I was like 6 or seven.

Wanted to ask you if in your collection of merchandise you've managed to track down this one:

If not, just a heads up that it exists so you can put your feelers out. I ticked ponies but not merch but I forgot I had this as a kid :) It's a pencil sharpener. It (and the scissors, which I broke) definitely both now look like they came to school with me when I was younger - but they're some of my treasures anyway :)

Surprise is also often on the front covers of UK comics, often sleeping under the Rainbow in early editions :)

Hard to see from this picture, but baby Surprise is also on the bottom of these 2 rulers. Again from my childhood :D

SURPRISE ALL THE WAY!!

My mom created my obsession by finding the plush XD Then I watched the show over and over again and I LOVED her in it and of course The Great Rainbow Caper is my top favorite episode and just LOVE! Then it brought my obsession with Danny and Spike cause they hung out with her a lot...

not pictured is the MLP n' Friends comic 30 (I think?) that kind of has him in it =D , the Baby Blue Ribbon game poster, UK video tape that's like the ads in the collage picture above and all the MLP movie merch I have with him on it... I think that's everything I know of XD


@Taffeta Thanks for the help with Surprise Items! I have the lock but its pink =D and that's the reason I got into the UK pony comic collecting XD first I just wanted all the sleeping Surprise's issues, then Surprise on in the cover art, then I just had to have them all! I only need like 15 more of them to be complete, besides the specials I might not know about...

Anyway! I didn't know she wasn't sold there o.O WOW! and OMG the ruler! I'll have to keep a look out for that =D

I also have a party favor, with the metal balls you have to get in the holes, with Surprise on it. I'm sure I'm forgetting lots of other stuff I have of her.... anyway that's just a taste ^.~

Oh and also all the different custom Surprise's I've gotten over the years and the art work....I'm nuts!  :whoa:

Love love love :D have mommy and baby.
i remember seeing a girl at my school have her and i feel in love with the white body with fluro hair and the fact the pony had wings was amazing also that fluro hair colour combo was so different to all the other ponies at that time.

wow wildshadow what an awesome collection you have :)

@Wildshadow - I admire your dedication :D So glad you managed to pick up one of the padlocks! They're so cute. The rulers do come up on UK ebay sometimes if you keep your eyes peeled :D

That MOC Italy Firefly *grabby hands*. I SO want a pony on that card, one day. It's not for the Surprise thing, but just that it's a gorgeous card. And I am as obsessive about cards as you are about Surprise. Like you I also don't care who is on the card xD. It's the card that matters!!

By the way, she's also on the back of the Italian ponywear card for the mum and baby sets. She and Baby Surprise both are dressed in the jogging outfit. :)

Surprise is a lovely pony. All the year 2 and 3 unicorns and pegasus ponies are awesome.

She's one of my all time favorites, easily. If I find a nice one, you know, good body, great curls etc. she gets added to the hoard. I feel a little guilty having so many, but she's a common enough pony for that. :)

I have issues with most early ponies. But typically it's different issues, or discernible differences vs. the blatant surprise hoarding I have going on.

Very fond of Surprise.  I have the SS and glitter versions, baby and baby pearlised... I think I have another one but I can't remember which variant.

I would love to have hoardes of y2 and y3 pegs and unicorns. How beautiful that would be. It's such an irony that there are such floods of them over there that such a thing is possible...

I cannot still imagine this wonderland ><.

There isn't a UK variant, so definitely a nope on that. ;) Surprise and Baby Surprise were not sold in the UK in any form.
