Off Topic / Re: The Trivial Complaints Thread ... #3

Today's complaint is that my soda exploded & I was really looking forward to drinking it.  :(

Taffeta, Oh no! Mold is so gross, I'm glad its not too bad!

One of my favourite toylines (Cloudees) are blindbox only, but very easy to cheat. What I didn't like was how hard some characters were to find - I am still missing a bunch, unfortunately.
I don't really care for blindbag/box otherwise. I would like to get the sylvanian babies ones, but I don't know how easy those are to cheat (tbf, I haven't looked into them, because I haven't found them anywhere). I would also get into mixlings, but they're very expensive here.

Not that people don't collect G4 (that's 90% of what I collect) but the brony culture from G4 has faded a lot. I wish G5 inspired as much activity as G4 did

That really depends where you are. Where I live if the brony fandom is still very alive and kicking. Several meetups a year on location, bar and even a camping. And once a year a brony convention. G5 is also being embraced by that fandom. Ofcourse people come and people go but that also happens with the earlier gens.

Online most of them can be found on chat servers like Discord. Forums are simply old fashioned.

Hi, I'm so happy to be here!  :frolic:

I'm a 16-year-old pony collector who loves all generations, but especially G1 and G3! I've started my collection pretty recently, and I hope to grow my herd in my time here!

I had a small collection of G4 ponies from when I was younger that I found in my closet somewhat recently, which prompted me to begin my collection again. Then, when I went to a Toy Expo in my area, I found two G3 ponies, Daybreak and Sweetie Belle, and ever since, I have fallen in love with collecting G3, and then the generations before it. I now have 18 G3/G3.5 ponies and 4 G1 ponies, I believe? I also have quite a few G4 ponies, not sure exactly how many, and 1 G2 pony.

My favorite G1 ponies are Gusty and Skyflier, and my favorite G3 ponies are Star Catcher and Skywishes! I don't have any of them yet, but I hope to find them soon. I'm also quite partial to G4 Lily Blossom because she was a personal favorite when I was younger.

I hope to learn more about restoration while I'm here as well! I have a BBE Baby Lickety-Split who needs some fixing up, and I plan to work on that soon.

As for other hobbies, I also enjoy all kinds of art (I've mostly done digital art, but I recently have picked up painting traditionally and have fallen in love with it). For a while I was an LPS collector, so I have past experience with collecting as well.

Are they the ones that smell like crayons or is that a different Nirvana? or am I just getting totally mixed up? :p

It is the Peru ponies that smell like wax crayons :)

Love pkw xxx

That is such a cool, weird, fun little tidbit of info! Gosh, now I wanna smell one! I might have to find a Peruvian pony now! :P

G4 is still a thing, but not as big on the arena as it was in its heyday. The arena's been around since long before G4, and earlier generations are more the focus.
