I'm so excited! I really hope the crystal ponies will be somehow different to normal ponies. Maybe they'll have blocky eyes like the toys?

I'm excited to see how this turns out.  Anyone else  catch the line about helping Princess Cadence and how her magic won't last forever?    Cadence's power is love so that has some interesting implications.  My first impression from the song is that there will be two groups of crystal ponies that are at odds and that the mane six are trying to reconcile their differences by showing their common history?

Yeah, this is a possibility--everything is in the past tense.  They HAD a fluglehorn, they HAD a flag, they HAD an anthem . . . It makes it sound like they don't have those things anymore.

On the other hand, Twilight and the crew are definitely somewhere new--that's not Canterlot Castle, it's a big crystal looking thing.

I'm confused about the past tense Twilight used in the song too.

Taking some clues from the toys, we can speculate what Crystal Empire is like.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is the "Crystal Princess" line of G3 ponies and all those had was sparkles on their muzzles and on their cutie marks (for example, Desert Rose and Denim Blue)... I really hope that it will be Twinkle eyed ponies though!

If Emerald Green is important to enough to be packaged with the Mane 6 in the Target set, maybe he plays a large role in the storyline...maybe a prince or something?

Twinkle Eyes would be so cool. I was wondering if that had something to do with the "make them see" line of the song but I'm probably just reading into it too much.
