Feathermay is beautiful. Though, I think my favorite G4 (at least for the toys) is Blossomforth. Love her eyes. I was more the opposite, I planned on only collecting G4s (FiM introduced me to ponies) and one month later I got my first G3, then I got into G1 and 2. I still didn't like 3.5 until 3 months after I got into MLP, and I finally got a 3.5 Scootaloo. Then, for Christmas I got 11 G1s. Now I have over 200 ponies and I only started in July/August....

Aaaand hehehe, as has been stated, this is how it begins... I also started off with just one (the Ride-Along Twilight Sparkle) and told myself it would stay at one... But now I own most of the singles releases and a playset that I only got for the ponies included (the castle one with Shine Bright Luna). Then I told myself I would stick to G4s and now I have a few G3s with more on the way. Now I know that eventually I'm gonna wind up with G1s even though I told myself I wouldn't fall for them, no sirree...

I was just like you.  I first saw the G4s and was saying how I didn't like them, those were not the MLP's I knew growing up (even the G3's, while similar, didn't quite feel right to me).  Well... my daughter got 4 of the mane 6 for her birthday one month after I started collecting.  I... kinda... sorta... fell for them.  I eyed them in the stores... and when I saw sales I snatched them up.  I have over 30... and Rarity's carousel, Twilight's balloon, the small Canterlot Castle, Cheerilee's schoolhouse, Applejack's farm truck and Rarity's Carriage.  I'm planning on getting the train and cars yet.  Sigh.

Feathermay was my first G4 too! Along with Apple Jack when HasbroToyShop did the "buy one get one free with free shipping" for ponies. She is so pretty, and still one of my favorites. And now I'm up to seventeen G4s... It's completely true that the more you get the more you'll want...

I have wanted the G4's since the start, but I can totally relate when it comes to G3's. I swore up and down I would not own any....unless someone who didn't know better get me one as a gift. But....then I saw Autumn Skye and Kiwi Tart. That was it.....I was doomed. Now I have like 200 of them. lol. I think it's great when we "come to the dark side" on a generation. It's that great feeling of falling in love with ponies all over again.
