Title: What do you use to draw on your ponies?
Post by: ButtercreamDream on February 15, 2018, 05:09:53 PM
I Usually free hand when I paint, but I'm starting on a custom that is going to have an all over pattern.  I tried pencil, but I can't see it very well (it's for Snuzzle).  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Make a template of what design you want for Snuzzel.

Cut the template out, use paint to colour the things on the template.

I hope this helps.

Try a watercolor pencil or a Prismacolor.  It may still not be perfect but they're better than graphite.

Thanks ladies.  I'll test out the Prismacolour.

few layers of matte seal will give it enough grab to use water colored pencils on, iv done that with one customs so far as more of an experiment, worked ok.

I use pencil on ponies with FBR, and for unpainted ponies white gel pen works quite nicely (but acetone may be needed to remove any lines that are not painted over).
