Title: Separating the Sisters - for a good reason!
Post by: gabumon on August 04, 2012, 11:09:59 AM
So I'm giving the Celesita "half" (I'm keeping Luna) to my niece and I wanted it be nice.  How does it look?

I cut the MLP Logo art and moved it over the Tia's side.  And tried to repackage the clear plastic.

I think it looks great!!  I don't think your niece will be concerned with the packaging...she'll be too excited about the pony:)  That is such a lovely gift, and I'm sure she will be so happy to receive Celestia!!

Looks good to me! Kids just love getting ponies, the packaging doesn't really matter from what I've seen. I bet she'll be thrilled!

don't worry, I think you did a really nice job on re-packaging. I'm sure she will love it (and yeah, as others said, she'll be interested in the inside contents much more) :)

I gave half of the small version of Luna and Celestia to my daughter... Although I let her choose first and she chose Luna, to my dismay :) But yeah, little kids don't care about the package. They just want to tear it apart to be able to play with the pony. That's the way it should be anyways :)

You re-packed her so well, at first I thought it was the individual pack Celestia that has been showing up at Walmart. XD I'm sure you're niece will love her! :D

It looks great :D So neatly packed. Too bad it won't stay that way for many seconds when you give her to your nice ;) She's gonna love Celestia I'm sure =)

Awesome job! She looks great and I am sure your niece will just be keen to get to the pony inside the plastic :)

I think she looks perfect, and like others said she'll probably be too excited about getting to the pony to care about packaging. The only thing I'd worry about was if she noticed Celestia doesn't actually come with "Over 25 accessories!" XP

oh Drat!  I forgot about the "25 Accessories" XD oh well.  She can't read yet... well, not quite. ;)

Thanks everypony!

Nice packaging job. I doubt if she'll notice, but...

...some of the kids I give ponies to want me to take the ponies out of the box first, style their hair, and then give it back to them. After seeing all of my personal collection on my shelves, ponies with wonderously styled hair, the kids find getting a pony straight out of the box with ugly hair kind of disappointing. I've even had relatives mail unopened ponies MIB asking me to send them back with styled hair for their children! And to keep the really small accessories so they don't get lost or swallowed by a younger child! I've given away so many duplicate ponies over the years, most kids don't care about the packaging.

That looks great.  Like it's meant to be that way.  Also on a side note, I have a niece named Tia too.
