I like them... but as they are now, they don't belong in my collection. Which I am gutted about, because I did want some of them... but for my personal tastes, the faces are too... adult? I think it's the defined lips with lipstick. 

If they are small... maybe... but I prefer "cute" things... But... I might do it if Applejack comes with a DVD.

Sunset Shimmer looks really bizarre with a Caucasian flesh tone and one yellow leg >,o I'm not at all taken with them, personally. I've been a lot less interested in EqG since the second trailer, I just have a hard time swallowing that the fate of Equestria lies solely on the outcome of a high school popularity contest D:

Do it! I have to be honest- if the EqG dolls were articulated, I'd have a harder time resisting.

Moonshadow: Yup! Really makes me wonder if these are still prototypes, even though we have an "in-box" image. As others have said: Those ears. Also, these dolls appear to still have the "rat tails" growing out of their hair.

If they really are looking to dig at Monster High, and it still very much appears to me that they are, I don't understand why they didn't make these dolls jointed. That's a big part of the appeal of that line.

I noticed that too!  It looks hilariously cheap. 

The rat tails, the lack of articulation, the molded on shirts...just no.
