My Minty B arrived!!  Woooooohoooooo do I just love her.  She is really, really beautiful and I am so thrilled to own her.  She makes such a fantastic addition to my collection.

I saw that the Minty A wasnt sold (600 dollar is quiiiiite steap) and now its relisted in a new auction and is currently at 10.50.

I bet what happened was the winner didn't pay- or maybe he or she just had two?  I'm sure the reserve is for $400.  I find the Minty prices to be somewhat astounding given how similar she is to the Minty B...

No, there was no winner, I checked for it after it expired and I couldnt find the listing in the completed or sold categories.

It seems to me that if you start with a high price you'll get less interest. Something about a bidding war makes people willing to pay exhorbitant amounts, heh. Because even though there were at least two bidders wiling to pay $400+ for Minty A in SoSilver's auction, the loser didn't jump at the chance to pay the same amount for this person's. And yet, there is no guarantee if you start low that you'll get bid up to anywhere close to where you hope to be. Luck and good timing play a frustratingly large part in it, heh. SoSilver seems to have a knack for perfect timing

I think there are probably two people who were willing to pay $400+ for Minty A-  one of them got SoSilver's.

The other person probably wants the new Minty A-  but realizes that the competition is much less fierce- and probably is less keen on shelling out so much cash without a bidding war...

I think the risk was worth it!  She is such a pretty pony.  I like her best as a G4 too.
