Hi all, I'm working on starting the next part of my little-brothers-grown-up project, and I would like to do Leaper. Obviously there's no green big brothers already available, so I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on options for modifying a base. I see one of two options:
1. Get a bait Tex (or white blank from HQG1C when available...) and dye.
2. Get a pepper jack from HQG1C and use that.

Obviously even finding the nastiest bait Tex will still cost me. But I worry that  pepper jack is simply TOO green. I also am *not* confident in my dying skills... I've not had very much success with it in the past. Pepper jack vs. Leaper for comparison. Opinions?

Hi gang! I've been finishing up quite a few customs here recently, and I'm sort of at a loss for where to display them. I don't really feel like putting them with the other non-custom ponies, since I worked so hard I want them to shine.. but I also have limited display realestate. How do you guys display your custom ponys? I'd love to see pics!

went to target today and found the basic fun heartthrob! i grabbed the last once since she's one of my favorites... I saw in the box that her head was maybe turned, but since she was the only one left i didn't think much about it and grabbed her.

i've been pretty happy with my basic fun ponies so far..I have snuzzle, parasol, and confetti. I've always been pretty impressed with their quality! they hairs are always silky and in cute styles, and the plastic never feels greasy... (unlike most g4s...) but poor hearrthrob came out a little wonky! If you can see, her head like doesn't fit right on her neck lol! i took it off and put it back on to see if that would help, but it seems like it was cut wrong or something, it just doesn't fit on the poor girl's neck.

i'm not that bothered by it, but it would have been nice if she was in just as good quality as the rest of them... and of course they're lacking pony smell :'( Have you guys experienced bad quality in your basic fun ponies?

hi! i have plans to make a custom of my quagga pony, and i want her hair to have "afro" texture but definitely not purfume puff texture. I've found pre-kinked nylon hanks on etsy, does anybody have any experience with using them, especially in ponies? or would it be better to kink it myself, and whats the best method for doing that?  I also have an airbrush now so i think ill use that on her head/stripes and start with a white pony base (i think pony bride!)

hi all! i have a new bjd incoming and she is only 12cm tall : O!!!!!!!!!
she is a bat anthro doll so she has some odd anatomy, and to my understanding can only really wear skirts and halter dresses. so i'm looking for lati yellow/pukifee/pukipuki/hujoo baby/other tiny sized doll  clothes! obviously, preferrably skirts and dresses. im also open to looking at sleeveless tops (if they are velcro'd) i like lots of different styles, but she's orange, so im looking for black clothes and maybe some creams and yellows... but i'd love to peruse what you have!
