I am a 35-year-old mother of two from Finland. I’m a relatively new collector of g4 ponies.
In my childhood I played with the G1 ponies. I only had a couple of ponies myself and the scented Cherry Treats is the only one I can still remember. But I loved those ponies.
With my two girls aged 3 and 5 I became newly introduced to MLP and started collecting the brushable G4 ponies last year. I’m not really familiar with the tv series (or movies) as my kids are still too young to watch it. I have only seen a couple of episodes of FIM. But I love these new ponies anyway and I have read about the characters on the net. We have a collection of about 70 different ponies at the moment (plus a couple of extra Pinkie pies..) There are still a few must-have harder-to-find ponies missing from our collection.
I still love the G1 ponies too but at the moment I’m not considering starting to collect them too.
