I bought the Shining Adventures pack at Target and added on some of their markings. The toys are very high quality, but it really bugs me that they are lacking the stockings and blazes that make the characters them! I kind of wanted to try and remove the molded hair on the boys and attemp to root them, but then I wasn’t feeling that ambitious, so I just added some glitter to their hair to help separate it from the body some.visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginI saw the small unicorn party set of brushables at Walmart the other day, but I didn’t pick them up. So far I think the styling size ponies are the best quality for the money.
Absolutely love them with their markings, it adds so much to them! I wish Hasbro wouldn't approve character designs they have no intention of representing correctly. "Sure, give Twilight 3 hair colors lol""Sure, give the new characters socks and blazes lol"Sigh.
I'm not overly concerned with show accuracy either but a MLP show usually is created with the goal of selling toys in mind, so I don't know why they bothered to design characters with markings that aren't going to be on the toys to begin with?I was excited to finally have horsey markings on MLP charas, only to find out the toys wouldn't get them! I was a bit bummed.
