I think her face looks a lot like  a dollymix pony-  anyone have a picture of them together?

The box for my pony actually shows the pony that is inside- so that is good if they are going to sell these in stores.  I will admit I had this teeny tiny hope for an exact mini replica of G1 Firefly, but I think we all knew THAT wasn't going to happen since they were using stock photos...
I don't have Dolly Mix firefly but I do have two other DMs I can hold up with her

and here is the photos. My phone hates focusing in on small things.

Thanks so much!  Yep.  SHe looks like a large size dolly mix.    I hope they do more...

She's pretty cool. her proportions are a bit weird, but if there's anything about her that bothers me, its that receding hairline.

does anyone know where these are being sold?

Amazon.com, and local comic shops. Maybe Barnes and Noble?

They're pretty new-  I think only Amazon.com and some comic shops have them now, but I'm sure various places will have them in stock before the holiday season.   The company that makes them specializes in those little desk-garden, desk-troll type kits that come in the same size package...

I like the idea of combining the figure with that tiny book. That's super cute. But what bothers me the most are the weird eyes.  Like she hasn't slept for days or something.  ;)

She does have a hard time standing, but I don't think her big head is the problem! Her legs are situated a little strangely.

Just a small update.  There are several sites that are still using the misleading photograph, false advertizing.  The only ones that are using the correct photographs are the sites where customers actually provided their own photographs.  Amazon after getting flooded with negative reviews dropped their price down to $6.29, this is from the original price that every per-order person paid $8.78.  They of course pushed it back up to $8.78 today.

I think the item does grow on people as you look in to her misshaped eyes.

As for someone saying about it being a stock photo and people not expecting it to look like that.  Read the reviews left on Amazon.  She was expected to be exactly that.  If the company didn't intend the item to look exactly like that, they knew what it would look like and should have redone the photo's themselves and released the correct item.  The bait and switch thing isn't fair or right to the consumers.

Something about her face looks really off and distinctly duck-like

I might have to pass on this, and it's a shame, really.

Dinky Firefly is in Australia! I found her in Reading's bookshop here in Melbourne. There were 4 of them on a shelf in the children's section and one or two up the front beside the registers. She's priced at $12.99. :)

I won't be buying this frightening new addition to the World of MLP, but thank you for this wonderful line! I'm only hoping you're right since so many members now have her!
Looking for CF Minty, excellent condition! (and maybe Snuzzle and Blue Belle)

I think even if things are horribly ugly in the future I'll still buy them. Man, I really wish they made all the Hamilton figurines they had planned!

Aw that picture looks like baby Firefly had a baby.
So that would make her "Baby Baby Firefly" then? (this is actually something I've often wondered about the baby G1s).

Babier Firefly?

Babiest Firefly?

Ok, I just laughed out loud!
