My understanding was that it would be around the same size as those light-up talking princess toys (Celestia & Cadence)

... although upon further research, I don't know that her actual size has been disclosed.  Here is the description from Entertainment Earth:

Maybe Nightmare Moon is holding the TRU people hostage and that's why they haven't posted the info yet? If Walking Talking Pinkie Pie is an indicator for power sources, I fear I know where that cord is exiting.

Man...that Twilight is pretty disappointing actually. I was quite excited for her, but now, not so much.

I'll probably still get her some day, though I definitely plan to get Cadance first, since I still don't have her.

Also, Toys R Us, gosh darn it hurry up! >:/
