TRU Favourite Collection RainbowDash.. ok to customize?

..is she sought after? Any more sought after than a regular RD?

Thing is, I have one here and since she is basically a duplicate (I have a regular one already) and I need one to cut the wings off of I figured I might as well use her?
But if there's people out there who'd actually search for her, I guess I'd rather use a regular release.

I have NO idea about G4 values other than that the early FS are sought after.. so sorry if this is a dumb question. ;

Honestly I doubt Rainbow Dash will ever be sought after at all, and I don't think a glittery symbol makes a difference.

The only thing that makes her special is the glitter on her symbol. There's so many Rainbow Dashes that I don't think it would matter much.

How difficult is it to remove her wings?

I agree with others that other than her glittery symbol, she is not any different from some of the other Dash releases so she would be fine to customise.

Even though RD isn't that sought after...she IS still a tiny bit harder to find than just any ordinary RD you can find at Target. Personally I wouldn't use her and would use my regular RD instead to chop up, but that's my personal opinion on the matter and certainly you can choose who you like (might not Trixie be easier to use than RD though? She's a similar shade of blue and I think a horn might be easier to cut off than wings, and I don't think there's any shortage of Trixie either)

Yeah, it's just that I personally don't like the glitter (prefer the regular banged release I own) and regular RD is currently not sold in stores here.
I can't use Trixie either - Because I actually need the wings, not the wingless pony (will turn her into a G4 Nightglider tho, so nothing goes to waste ;>).

I would think that she would be ok to work on There are so many of the same ponies being made over and over.

Personally for me, I would use a normal RD and save the TRU because of the glittery cutie mark, but there again, I collect for differing features, especially the mane 6. For example, I have normal Pinkie Pie, Pinkie Pie with glittery cutie mark, Pinkie pie with Tinsel hair, shine Bright Pinkie pie etc all essentially the same pony, but all with differing features. I find the TRU style hard to come by but the normal ones, I can pick up cheaply so yeah, I'd save the glittery one (and the one with bangs since they are difficult to find these days) and use a normal one.

People are always selling her and Pinkie Pie for three dollars on ebay, because they want the exclusives and don't want another. I say use her! Yeah...good thing you didn't customize Lily Blossom! I say, as a rule of thumb, if you aren't 100% sure of their rarity, it's best to ask first.

I mean, yeah, she's not as easy to get as regular RD but look at the Core 7, most of their variants aren't worth much even now.
