I absolutely adore giant plushies! But I've no idea how to get one to the UK without spending an arm and a leg on shipping. So I'll have to be content with eyeballing everyone elses

rosesare used to sell amazing patterns for giant plush - I saved a picture of a Punzie she made...this is rosesare's picture and rosesare made the pony - isnt she amazing!

Is that Butterscotch truly just a prototype? I love her! I wasn't into the bug plushes but if I got one, it would have to be her. I'm confused, there are two sizes right? How many different ones are there?

@Foxtale yes I believe she is a one off - I dont know if prototype is the right word, as it would have been odd to produce one of Butterscotch and then actually launch a completely different selection of ponies, but I think she was a "one off" created for some purpose.

Edit: Sorry missed the second question yes the first set of "giants" are larger than the second set - I think rumour at the time was that they were actually looking for something smaller around the 20inch size but Hasbro wouldnt licence that size of plush so they ended up making their second set of "giants" smaller than the first although still easily in the "giant" category.

You would be best hoping Spinky turns up to let us know but I think Butterscotch comes in at the size of the larger giants.

It goes as follows...

Series 1 Target - Rainbow Dash, Sweetberry, Minty

Series 2 Target (slightly smaller and came with butterfly wings) - Minty, Twinkle Twirl, Frilly Frocks

Series 3 Myer (again still in the smaller scale but not with the wings) - Pinkie Pie, Minty, Wysteria

Then we had
- Kimono [Red Rooster competition]
- Starshimmer [give away for an event for the Starlight Foundation]
- Frilly Frocks [mail order] 
- Butterscotch ["prototype"]

It should be noted that Butterscotch was only ever officially spotted as a potential "product design" on a manufacturers catalogue. Until the one which Spinky owns showed up she was very much just an unknown. The same manufacturer also had a picture of a giant Star Catcher and a giant Star Swirl - so perhaps they are out there as well?
