Well.... much as "we" the collectors dislike this, in collectibles, the buyer sets the price.  Since a number of people have been frothing at the mouth to obtain a Miss Grey Bubblebutt, I'm sure Toywiz is simply taking advantage of the recent popularity. 

Don't like it?  Don't be the one who buys it! 

And if/when a newbie does buy it and comes to brag here, let's not make them feel bad when they learn they overpaid more than 100% the value, okay?

^This...a pony's "worth" on an open market is set by what someone is willing to pay for it.

However, it should also be remembered that ToyWiz are notoriously overpriced due to their target market and the way they stock things for collectors.

Toywiz typically charges very high prices for just about everything, so alas I'm not very surprised. X3 They also charge based on rarity/demand so the more desirable it is-the more $ they tack on.

Faint... I wanted her at first but new I would not be able to get her for anything under what I could afford. This is to much. Though I do again with other in the fact that Toywiz can be over priced and for certain things they raise the price because they now the item it sort after.

i know a lot of people check ebay for prices of soemthing. and they dont think  to check the  price it sold for.. they  just check the going prices.   and i  know she was  super expensive on ebay for a bit.  maybe once  it dies down  the price will drop?

Selling her for $45 might not be a profit for everyone.  Im sure some people paid $45-60 for there's then decided to sell because they realized even what she now sells for.

that particular item is more expensive  than you might find it elsewhere, and they do "overprice" some things compared to original retail price, but collectible items often sell for more than their original price. I've bought some things for them at what I considered fair prices and was happy with my purchase and their customer service, so I have no complaints *Shrug*
