i don't think this is possible for me to do, as ponies are the only thing i spend my money on. (and food, now that i got a raise at work and more hours! ) but i will definitely cheer you guys on!

Tuney, I've been on a pony bender lately.  I know I have a problem when my husband asks "so how many ponies are we expecting this week?".  In all fairness, I have bought a ton of ponies for my swap partner, so technically I'm just buying for friends.  I will try, and I mean really try, to join you in the no buying month.  Honestly, I hope that no Argie wingers come up for sale in April!  I've never been very good at self-restraint though;)

So here's my pledge: I, Michelle, solemnly swear to do my best to refrain from pony purchases during the month of April.

I have spent way too much since last June, and while I now have more than a crate of new ponies, I notice that since I got extra work I have more ponies but don't seem to be saving any money!

Even the postman has commented, it was bad enough when my partner started taking the mick.  I even got a parcel of ponies I forgot I had bought yesterday.

I was thinking of doing something similar along the lines of "until I have enough in my paypal credit from sales"...then I looked in the for sale thread...then I spotted a bargain lot on eBay...and then,...and then...

Now I've quickly totted it all up I realise (with associated sinking feeling) that I have spent £500 on paypal since Xmas...something has to be done to break the spending spree!

So I think total abstinence is the way forward!

I will also have to list up my G2 herd...just as soon as I find the time to clean and photo them!

I'll be collecting photos to go on my want list instead for a month! Yay!

After all this I ran right out and bought all of the McD's ponies this morning. I know it's not April yet, but I am seriously thinking I am a MLP crackhead. I'm still in, but worried that I will never make it.

Oh shoot.  I cheated then.  I went and bought tons of ponies to make custom gifts for my friends before high school graduation.  This may be the last time I see them, so I was going to give them something to say, "Thanks for being my friend."  So, yeah, I cheated.  Sorry.
