Whew, sounds like they need to be sent to me for inspection!

Unfortunately they are not in my possession (yet) so I'm afraid I cannot fullfill your request :P

Pony Corral / Re: How many original Rapunzel ponies exist today? Any idea?
« on: September 04, 2020, 05:18:30 AM »
Considering how often she is for sale though, compared to other rare ponies, I would assume there are quite a large number of her out there, unless people just dont keep theirs very long and sell them off again looking like there are a lot, when they are just the same ponies beeing sold over and over again.

Pony Corral / Re: Does a G1 bath towel exist??
« on: September 04, 2020, 03:39:56 AM »
I have one towel with a white Cotton Candy (looks like bubbles) and a yellow and blue Snuzzle. Would add pics if I only cound figure out how to do it :P
Theres a pic on my instagram though (#Leikinit) if you want to see :)

Sadly, I imagine towels fall into that category of “toss it—nobody wants our used bath products”. :( Probably more ended up in the garbage than in yard sales, thrift stores, or the like. What a shame! It looks like they had some pretty designs...

I think this is probably what happened to most of the G1 towels too.  I think there was also MLP bars of soap (in MLP packages not shaped like ponies)?

Ponyfan

There was definitely soap in those heart-shaped ceramic keepsakes, but I don't think it was pony shaped soap, just round with the imprint of a pony on it? We had them in our gift cupboard (to give to people for birthdays haha) but I remember I ended up taking one with Bowtie for myself :P

There where soaps shaped like ponies as well. or well, kind of. They where flat on one side though ^^  I had one as a child, and I should have one anywhere among my boxes.

I fount these pics though :)

Little Honey Pie (Euro style card w side borders)
Megan and Sundance, regular US like version box
Sunspot, US style card (no border)

Thank you in advance :)

Right now I can't find the oldest version of my site, but the wayback has this one from 2001 (recorded in 2009 I think, but you can tell by IPD and other things that it's from 2001)
https://web.archive.org/web/20081009204216/http://www.taffeta.250x.com/ponypage/idhome.htm

Non Beddy Bye eyes ponies? Non So soft ponies? Oh no Taffeta, you didnt!  :dropjaw:

Haha I know, it's terrible isn't it XDD

I quit using those terms somewhere around 2010 when I realised that using them (especially NSS) was conflating the idea of one collective set. And the non-thing always sounded horrible to me, so I felt like, when I did the current site, I was going to do away with the terms.

But if you look at some of the older images on my site they are labelled as 'nss' still in their filename.

The thing is in my defence, the original role of the scrapbook was actually to help people in the US understand ponies in Europe, rather than a site for UK people or Europeans. Because there weren't so very many of us...

But yeah, I look back at some things on that link and cringe. I almost didn't share it because I knew someone would poke me about it ;)

It's a sign we can all learn from past mistakes though, right??

Sorry, could not resist! :D But I think we have all been there at some point, and thats the fun thing about MLP, that there is always something more to discover, or revalue your own thinking and belives :)

Pony Corral / Re: Just learned there's 10 dragons...
« on: August 21, 2020, 06:14:00 AM »
I have all the princess dragon, + dream castle spike. For me the difficulties has been to find lavender castle spike and mo spike (or, rather, I'm not really looking for them and dont want to spend that kind of money on them right now :P:

But the princess dragon pops up every now and then here. I might have an extra yellow one, but I dont know where it is unfortunatly, as my collection is packed down. :/

But as Taffeta sugested, try ebay.co.uk, and you will probably find them soon :)

I had yellow dragon once, but it got dog'd.

So did my yellow dragen! I was still a kid back then, I was devastated :(

Pony Corral / Re: G1 Diamond Dreams Question
« on: August 04, 2020, 12:23:42 PM »
both Diamond Dreams and Sparkler (the two prettiest imo) where cut out from the European releases, we only had the other four. So I guess that is a reason they would be harder to find then the others, but it doesnt really explain why Diamond Dreams is pricier then Sparkler though. I guess that is due to popularity mostly.

Pony Corral / Re: My Little Wiki - Unofficial 2020 Update Thread

There is the Facebook Group where you could add entries for the wiki. I know I have added a long time ago, but it never seemed to get updated. So I Think you can find a lot of stuff there that are not yet updated to the wiki :)

https://www.facebook.com/groups/637737116430215

edit to add: I have a Little qirk about the "variant 1, variant 2 etc, labeling. It Always annoys me when people are labeling ponies as "Italian Butterscotch variant 3" as it is some official name for that pony, and everyone should know what that mean. I dont know of a better way to label them though to avoid this. (And I might be the only one having a problem with this as well :P )

Pony Corral / Re: Least fave sweetberry pony ?
« on: June 25, 2020, 08:31:28 AM »
Boysenberry Pie for me as well. Dont really like the colour combo. Not really found of Rasberry Jam (pose, although I like her hair) and Strawberry Surprise (pink and pink, a little boring), But the other three are fab, with cherry Treats as my favourite (had her as a child)  She is the perfect combo of white and striking red hair, with that little touch of green in her symbol.
And the whole set is one of my absolute favourite sets! I even have baby customs of Boysenberry pie and Raspberry Jam, and plan to get the full set of babies some day :)

Pony Corral / Re: Are there ponies/playsets with no known MOC?
« on: June 03, 2020, 04:31:36 AM »
Has the lavender Dream Castle been found MIP? I think I remember participating in a conversation here about how no one had seen mint versions of the stickers in that one.
I think I have seen the Lavender DC MIB somewhere.

There’s a yellow gusty?!?
I assume she means Moondancer?
Yes, sorry, my misstake. I was thinking ahead of writing, and was already on Gusty when I wrote that. She is in the set, but Moondancer is the one that is yellow ^^

I will honestly cry if you decard a UK Windy. That's one of my no. 1 grails. She was my first pony, and the only time I've seen her on sale has either been after an auction ended, or when I didn't have any money.
Dont worry, I'm only teasing you, as I know you want her bad :D I would never open her. ( and will have you in mind if I would decide to sell her some day ^^ )
