Hello,
I'm wondering if there is any other sites asides photobucket to use to upload photos onto the mlp arena? My laptop just doesn't work with photobucket. If you know of any other sites that can be used Id really love to know.

Imgur is my go-to. Simple, intuitive, efficient. ^^ To post a picture, it's the "new post' button, top left. You don't need to "share with community", it will send your pictures to the Usersub but that's not your objective if you're just uploading privately for the arena.

I use a tumblr blog or the links from Discord, both have their own image hosting.

I love imgbb.com
You dont even need an account to do one-off's. But you can also make a free account for all your photos to upload to. Reminds me of old simple photobucket

i use imgbb for a lot of my uploads. That, or Tumblr.

I will actually use DeviantArt and put it under my St.Ash folder or I will use Facebook and make the photo only visible to myself. They'll still show up here when you post the image address even though they won't be available to everyone else surfing your profile on the site.

Imgur is my go-to choice. Sometimes I get a little lost on their layout but it gets the job done... just make sure to set the privacy settings for each album to what you want if you try it because they always start out set to public (unless that's changed) :)

On imgur, your can change your posting settings to always post privately, it's somewhere in the profile settings.

Oh dear, ok so m not to sure what I maybe doing wrong but I seems I cant even upload photos. I put this in....
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Then go to save and or preview and it doesn't even come up.
What am I doing wrong. I am so not good with technology :cry:

It looks like maybe you're just grabbing the page URL instead of the image's specifically. I'm not familiar with Flickr, but you need the URL that ends in .JPG / .GIF / .PNG to link directly to the image.

Are you able to right click on the image and "copy image url" ? That's what you need to paste between your [*img][/img] (without star)

Your right Flickr isnt good. So I got onto Imgur and wowz its working for me. YAYS! Thank you so very much :) Definitly helped me. I can Now post pictures!!! Thank you thank you so very much :)

Finally added some photos into my sales thread! I need to add more. But I been so busy.

I use Google Drive and Dropbox.
Dropbox requires some URL massaging to do embedded pictures, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't an advanced user and non-mobile.
