So I've seen a post circulating tumblr recently about a rare line of toys from the early 90's called Little Miss Dinosaur. According to the post there's not much info on them and I thought "hey, I'm part of a forum of people who like plastic toys with brushable hair, maybe someone here has seen them!" :lol:

According to the post they were made by the toy company TYCO in 1992 and were only around for a short time and it's likely they were only sold in Europe. I could find almost no info on them and the only lead was one toy on ebay UK of a MOC pink triceratops with blonde hair and it's card had been mostly cut off aside from where the bubble is.
It's a long shot, but has anyone seen these before? Own one? Know anything about them at all?

I second this! And I'm considering making a custom one, since these seem to be rare.
They are super cute though! Good luck finding them.

There is one on ebay, but the price is realllyyy painful.

I actually found two (Adventurous Ali & Giggles) for sale on a German site. So they're out there somewhere :lol:

I'm going to find a plastic dino, then refinish it with new paint, and well some fabulousness XD
And hair if its possible :)

I think my favorite part about this is that someone, somewhere, had to pitch this concept. And it was obviously successful enough to have at least been manufactured for a short time lol. Just wow.

Even that's going to be hard because most plastic dinosaurs are either not cartoony enough or way too cartoony. I think it would make more sense for a talented sculptor to make them from scratch than to customize them from something else.

I already found a dino base :D I'll post a picture if it succeeds. I mean why not try?

Right! I'm surprised that no one else on this thread mentioned their similarity to Darlin' Dinos! They are super cute, though...

Yeah I feel like these are even more obscure! They are quite a bit bigger than the designo dinos though, and more dino like than the Darling Dinos. So very strange haha
