Wave 4 blindbags from Walmart, yaaay! I'd given up hope on them, since I hadn't seen a spot for the "kiosk ponies" on the shelf for a while. But yesterday there was a box stuffed full of the little guys! After sifting through the whole thing I ended up with glitter Fluttershy, glitter Applejack, metallic Applejack, and metallic Rarity.

It depends what you consider "related". Lauren Faust claims to have based TS in some way on Twilight but the characters personalities are not the same although they are both unicorns with a celestial theme on their symbols - its more a remote similarity than a relationship I think. Twilight is an awesome pony congrats on adding her to your collection.
