I love tinsel! And glitter. And all manner of sparkly, shiny things. Yeah, it’s a pain to brush and style... but so worth it, IMO.As for replacing it... Wouldn’t that just be a matter of purchasing appropriate tinsel and rerooting it like any other fiber? I’ve never tried it personally, but I definitely would if a pony’s original tinsel was unsalvageable.
WaterDraw : By looking at G3's tinsel nature, I won't be surprised to see it melting easily. Also, they might tend to curl up like crazy and that would be counter-productive.I try to iron them anyway, by applying less heat possible and that kind of helps a bit.Tinsel is weird, I need to analyze more, that would be useful.
I once heard that someone tried to iron out krinkled tinsel, I think it ended up melting or something weird like that?
