*never mind! Tracking number updated!*

I've shipped an Ipod to someone and they paid a good amount of money for it. Thing is: expected delivery date was July 8th, and the tracking number did not update for 3 days.

I've contacted the seller to see if he got it and see if it was just the Tracking Number failing to update. If the seller didn't get the item, what should I do? I know I gotta refund the price. Will USPS refund the order?

If you put insurance on the package, and listed the full value on the forms, then you can file an insurance claim with the USPS.

I wouldn't quite worry yet. it's an 'expected' delivery date, not a guaranteed delivery date. I have had items arrive 2-3 days after the expected date.

HR is right. I wouldn't panic just yet because USPS is infamous for not always scanning items. I am sure it will get to it's destination just fine.

Yeah I panicked. The number updated! I guess it got delayed due to bad weather or traveling

Since USPS changed it from "delivery confirmation" to 'tracking", the number is sometimes useless. A while ago I mailed a package and 2 days later the tracking number said it was delivered back to me! And sometimes it looks like the package is bouncing all over the country. Sort of aggravating.

Glad to hear it updated now   USPS is getting real bad for not updating the tracking or giving weird tracking updates  lately!
