I really don't want my mom to badger at me for being on my iPod and/or computer every day, so I'm really in need of a pony project to do so that my mom doesn't get angry with me for "being lazy".

I am glad to see you like to stay busy.  Perhaps you could also add something in your siggy to advertise that you are taking commissions.  It could help you out a bit.

You could do a private swap. :3 I do them all the time.

You could make a pony on your own / for yourself. You don't need to rely on someone else to find you a custom to work on.

I actually do understand where she's coming from -- I hate making ponies for myself, and I can never come up with ideas on my own, so I often rely on someone else to give me ideas.
